House Intelligence Chair Adam Schiff (D-CA) seems to believe that he has been anointed the dictator of the House of Representatives after he was put in charge of conducting the impeachment proceedings.

This all began based off the complaint of the whistleblower, who is believed to be Eric Ciaramella, about the call that President Donald Trump had with the Ukrainian president. And now, because information has since come out that the whistleblower was in contact with Schiff, and his aide prior to the complaint being filed, not to mention that he allegedly worked in the White House with people like Joe Biden, Schiff doesn’t want to have him testify because he knows that Republicans will want to ask questions about all those contacts and what was said.

Schiff has done all that he can to stop transparency and to limit Republicans’ ability to ask questions and call witnesses. He reportedly rejected the Republicans’ witness list which included the whistleblower as well as people like Hunter Biden.

Now he’s taken the dictatorial approach even a step further.

He’s actually forbidding Republicans from even trying to talk about the whistleblower during the hearings.

This is straight-up crazy. There is absolutely no legal prohibition from anyone in Congress naming Ciaramella, much less even talking about him during the hearings. How can you have a hearing concerning allegations the whistleblower claimed without talking about him in some way?

This of course is to shut down talk about his contacts with Schiff or connections to other folks like Joe Biden that would show his bias. Schiff doesn’t want the public to hear any of that and that’s the point of this edict.

Americans blasted Schiff for his actions.

What a joke. Can’t talk about the context of the call including Ukraine interference in the 2016 election and can’t talk about the person who’s complaint started this or Schiff’s office’s involvement. Senate will have a field day with this sham

Yeah, the Republicans just need to declare it an illegitimate Kangaroo court, remove themselves from it, and let the country watch ONE party do what Alexander Hamilton warned them NOT to do.

Talk about a Soviet-style dictatorship.

Republicans should tell Schiff to go pound sand. Or even better, take a walk and call the kangaroo court for what it is, a pure partisan effort to take out the president because Democrats lost.
