Chilling.
In today's divisive world of hyperbolic descriptors, such as "chilling," "stunning," "horrific," "hysterical," "evil," "demonic," and worse, many if not most of us have become desensitized or even disinterested, all of which has been exacerbated by clickbait headlines that, more times than not, over-promise and under-deliver in their accompanying articles.
However, the story you're about to read is truly chilling — not only with respect to the contents of the article but also because of the visceral emotions associated with such darkness throughout history.
This brings us to New York City Democrat mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani — again.
Thirty-three-year-old Mamdani, a self-declared "Democratic Socialist "— in my not-so-humble opinion, a straight-up Marxist — is the prohibitive favorite to become NYC's next mayor in the November 4 election.
If the above doesn't personify the old adage that people usually get the government they deserve, I don't know what does (other than Chicagoans electing embattled Mayor Brandon Johnson after the disastrous Lori Lightfoot left office, that is, but I digress).
The point of the above is that if New York City voters elect Mamdani as their next mayor this November and the outcome turns out to be disastrous, the Big Apple will have gotten exactly what it deserves.
Now, Let's Get to the 'Chilling' Part
A radical left-wing activist organization closely linked to Mamdani is responsible for a series of "WANTED" posters targeting New York City business leaders, many of whom are Jewish or pro-Israel supporters.
New York Communities for Change (NYCC), which has been featured on Mamdani's campaign site, recently rolled out an initiative on its own website named the Department of Class Solidarity, which is described as a "working-class war room."
The oligarchs are waging a war on the working class.
Now it's our turn to fight back.
Starting with the billionaires who spent over $19 million trying - and failing - to defeat @ZohranKMamdani in the New York Democratic Primary.
1: How have "oligarchs" waged war on the working class? 2: How are you lunatics planning to "fight back"?

Did I mention that Mamdani lists the antisemitic hate group's endorsement on his website, and also spoke at the group's annual fundraising gala?
New York Communities for Change launched a project called the Department of Class Solidarity. That group has a database of 1000+ billionaires, and published these "WANTED" posters.

The NYCC website includes links to a database of "nearly 1,000 billionaires in our United States," along with information meant to "arm the working class with the knowledge we need to defeat them." The site also features detailed dossiers on multibillionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
Here's more:
Perhaps the most jarring aspect of the NYCC initiative is a series of posters featuring mugshot-style photos of Mamdani critics like New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, hedge fund executive Bill Ackman, and cosmetics tycoon William Lauder. The posters say the targets are "Wanted for Anti-Zohran Electioneering" and cite their donations to a super PAC supporting Mamdani challenger Andrew Cuomo.
It is unclear if Mamdani condones the posters or other rhetoric from the NYCC initiative. His campaign did not respond to a request for comment.
The inflammatory rhetoric could raise new questions for Mamdani, who has faced criticism over his refusal to condemn calls for violence. Mamdani has defended the anti-Semitic slogan "Globalize the intifada," widely considered a call to commit violence against Jews, as "a desperate desire for equality and equal rights in standing up for Palestinian human rights."
Truly chilling.

Even more chilling, there seems to be no radical bridge too far for Mamdani when it comes to the support of his rabid followers. It's "almost" as if the more radicalism he promises—including blatant antisemitism— and the divisive rhetoric he spews, the more fervent his support becomes.
What's that old poem? "First They Came?" Yeah, that one.
Editor’s Note: Zohran Mamdani is an avowed Democratic Socialist and has a real chance to become the next mayor of New York City.
