Alphabet Networks Blame Trump for 'Creating the Conditions' for LA Riots Because of Course They Do

The so-called "Big Three" Networks — ABC, CBS, and NBC (AKA "The Alphabet Networks") — on Monday misused and abused their evening broadcasts to blame President Donald Trump for "creating the conditions" that led to the violent anti-ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) riots in Los Angeles, which entered the fourth day, Monday.

Trump's "crime?" Targeting “unauthorized immigrants.”

Before we continue, for the umpteenth time, let's get this straight: Any foreign national is, by definition, an "alien" while in another country — be it legally or illegally. Hence, if you're in the U.S. illegally, you are indeed, by U.S. immigration law definition, an "illegal alien."

Leftists loathe the term for the same reason they loathe the word "abortion."

In the case of abortion, Democrats, instead of referring to murdering a viable baby in the womb as abortion, opt for the gentler descriptor, "women's health care." Likewise, by concocting terms like "unauthorized" or "undocumented immigrants," the left seeks to soften the reality in the minds of low-information voters, and the consciences (assuming they even have consciences) of the elitists who invent and use such watered-down nonsense.

One more thing before we jump into the issue at hand.

TDS — Trump Derangement Syndrome — as we know, is a cruel psychological affliction. One of, if not the most prevalent, symptoms of TDS is TDI — "Trump Did It." This article is focused on TDI.

Anyway, the TDS-TDI obsessed networks are now pushing the absurd argument that Trump's immigration policies — including enforcing existing immigration law — are widely to blame for the violent riots (AKA: "mostly peaceful protests," in Democratspeak).

The administration's response to the riots, including activists waving Mexican flags — some of them atop burning cars — is viewed by the objective among us as Trump’s aggressive enforcement actions to put an end to the radical madness.

Au contraire, declared CBS, NBC, and ABC, as reported by NewsBusters.

The ever-pompous "CBS Evening News" co-anchor John Dickerson on Monday had extensive coverage of the riots, including him interviewing Border Czar Tom Homan, whom he brazenly asked:

Was it really necessary to call out the National Guard?

(….)

When people see ICE agents at a garment factory, for example, it’s a little confusing because not everybody who’s getting arrested is a hardened criminal. Help people understand the disconnect there.

(….)

But if somebody is going for a court appointed check in or a ICE meeting and then they’re arrested, that seems to be different than the original way it was sold, which is that you were going to go after the hardened criminals. Those people seem to be basically abiding by the law.

(….)

What is your message to a business owner who might have undocumented migrant labor who’s not doing it — they’re not criminals. They’re just undocumented migrants. What would your message be to those — to those companies?

(….)

The President said it would be fine if you arrested Gavin Newsom. On what grounds would you arrest Gavin Newsom?

(….)

So, this whole thing is just a bunch of noise, basically, because you’re not claiming that Gavin Newsom has done anything to — to get to impede ICE officers?

(….)

But you don’t have any more evidence that [Newsom] crossed the line than that I did.

(...)

A quintessential example, if there ever was one, of why Dickerson's oft-claimed nonsense that he isn't biased is off-the-charts ridiculous.

Then we had CBS News "immigration reporter" Camilo Montoya-Galvez on "CBS Evening News Plus,’" going to bat for criminal illegal aliens, whom he dubs merely “unauthorized immigrants”:

Southern California has become the latest epicenter of the nation's contentious and polarizing debate over immigration policy and who should be deported from the country and the context and the backdrop here is that ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been dramatically expanding efforts throughout the U.S. to detain and deport unauthorized immigrants who are suspected of being in the country without legal permission.

And we have seen large-scale ICE operations across the country, including in Democratic-led cities like Los Angeles. On Friday, ICE, the FBI, DEA, and other federal agents raided a worksite here in the L.A. area that resulted in the arrest of more than 40 individuals who are suspected to be in the country illegally. Another 77 migrants suspected again of being here illegally were arrested by ICE on Friday as well.

That seemed to be the catalyst for these protests, some of which, as you can see, have been peaceful. Others have turned violent, and that violence is what the President has cited to not only call up the National Guard, but now, of course, to activate several hundred Marines.

Uh-huh. Totally objective.Yep, not a lick of bias, there. Nope, no way.

Next up, "NBC Nightly News" anchor Tom Llamas trotted out his version of TDI:

Tonight as we come on the air, there are new tensions in Los Angeles. Demonstrators again taking to the streets to oppose ICE’s immigration enforcement operations. And, this weekend we saw violent clashes, cars torched, downtown buildings spray painted with at least 50 arrested, and demonstrators shutting down the 101 freeway.

And tonight, word of approximately 700 Marines set to deploy following the President already mobilizing California's own National Guard.

That leading to a legal showdown with California announcing a lawsuit against the administration. And President Trump saying today he would support the arrest of California's governor, Gavin Newsom.

Correction: Trump merely said if he were Homan, he would arrest Newsom, which Homan later shot down, saying the U.S. had no intent of arresting Gov. Hair Gel (Newsom).

Last but not least, ABC's smug anchor of "World News Tonight," David Muir, faux-dramatically deploring “clashes between police and anti-ICE protestors,” and framing the rioting as caused by “sweeping immigration raids” and not the lawlessness of the radical protesters:

We begin tonight with Los Angeles bracing tonight, after sweeping immigration raids sparked protests and clashes tonight. A U.S. official confirming 700 Marines are on their way to Los Angeles to join California’s National Guard, which was deployed by the president, not that state’s governor.

Late this afternoon, a peaceful protest after the arrest of a union leader, but the city is bracing for nightfall. It was a far different scene over the weekend. Protesters setting off fireworks right there, police officers right nearby. A line of self-driving vehicles set on fire. Crowds shuts down the 101 freeway downtown. LAPD officers trying to move them out. T

The moment a U.S.-based correspondent from Australia reporting on the protest, you can see here she’s hit by an officer’s rubber bullet. President Trump going over the governor’s head, sending the state’s National Guard to scene and, tonight, he’s now sending hundreds of U.S. Marines.

No words to describe the depth of Muir's deception, selective reporting, and blatant hypocrisy.

Yet, the so-called "legacy media" can't figure out why their ratings continue to swirl down the toilet.

The Bottom Line

So here we again find ourselves as a country, as was the case with the George Floyd riots in 2020.

Violent activist are again leading low-information rioters in a deadly game of — let's call it "anarchy," or at the least, anarchist behavior — knowing full well that not only the likes of failing outlets like CNN and MSNBC will continue to lap it up like a parched dog drinking water, but also that the once-proud "Big Three" will do the same thing — if not worse.
