Ted Cruz Nails It: Liberal Media Lapdogs 'Turning on' Biden Because They Know He's Going to Lose

The Democrat Party goes to ridiculous lengths to protect its own — until it doesn't. When the Democrats smell blood in the water they throw their embattled colleagues under the bus in a heartbeat.

Minnesota Democrat Sen. Al Franken was a perfect example.

When Franken was first accused by a conservative talk-radio host of forcing an unwanted kiss on her during a 2006 U.S.O. tour, his Senate Democrat colleagues rushed to defend him. Seven more women followed with similar accusations about Franken, and just three weeks after the first accusation, he was toast — and forced to resign.

This brings us to besieged Joe Biden — although not because of his creepy affinity for sniffing women's hair.

The objective among us have been aware of Biden's declining cognitive capacity since at least his infamous 2020 presidential basement campaign. We've also been aware of the so-called "mainstream" media's yeoman's effort to shield Biden's steady decline from the beginning.

In the aftermath of the release of the explosive Hur Report, in which Biden was described as a "sympathetic elderly man with a poor memory," calls for the 81-year-old president to step down, or at least end his reelection bid, have reached fever pitch — not only from Republicans and independents but also from a growing number of Democrats.

Enter, Lapdog Media

Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz said this week during the latest episode of his "Verdict with Ted Cruz" podcast with co-host Ben Ferguson that he believes "corporate media" is beginning to turn on Biden because of its increasing realization he'd lose in November against a rematch with Donald Trump.

Cruz succinctly said in a post on X (formerly Twitter):

The media is turning on Joe Biden.
They are starting to get nervous since they realize that if it is Biden against Trump, Trump is going to win.

As I've suggested a few times lately, Biden is a dead man walking, and the Democrat Party and its quasi-official media are fully aware of that reality, so Joe's gotta go — one way or another.

The media is turning on Joe Biden.

Cruz further explained during the podcast:

I do think we are seeing the corporate media starting to turn on Joe Biden, and we’ve talked at length, listen, it was this podcast that drove news ... across the country, when we said months ago that I believe there was a very significant chance the Democrat Party would pull the cord on Joe Biden, yank him out and replace him with Michelle Obama.

Incidentally, I don't think Mrs. Obama will be Biden's replacement if he's forced out.

The former first lady reportedly hates politics and while the Obamas crave power, they also love their multimillionaire lifestyle. Besides, Barack Obama — always the smartest guy in the room, he thinks — seems perfectly happy pulling whatever strings he pulls from behind the scenes. Power without personal consequences, let's call it.

Cruz continued, making the point that the Democrat Party would be perfectly fine with Biden in the White House for four more years, but...

The Democrats and the media would be perfectly happy if they could wave a wand and put Joe Biden there for four years or more.
They’re not worried that he’s incompetent to be president. They’re not worried that the Department of Justice says he’s not competent to stand trial. They’re not worried that he’s such a weak commander-in-chief that our enemies are attacking our allies and threatening America. They’re not worried that he lacks the competence to do the job.
There’s only one thing they’re worried about: that he would lose. If they believed he would win, they’d be perfectly fine to Weekend at Bernie’s him, to stand him up as a corpse and say Joe Biden’s there and let’s keep pulling the puppet strings. Their concern is they’re worried he’s going to lose.

Precisely. Biden's strings have been pulled from day one of his presidency — with unelected leftists pulling those strings. So as the Democrat Party continues its march to the radical left, of course having an addled puppet as president is perfect.

Cruz said that if the Democrat Party is unable to replace Biden and he becomes the nominee, the media will again go back to labeling critics “ageist and racist” for questioning the mental capacity of the declining president's ability to serve.

The Bottom Line

I'm going to say it again. Biden's a dead man walking. The chance of him becoming the 2024 Democrat presidential nomination is approaching zero as the smell of blood in the water only intensifies.
