The founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk's final post on X is a perfect example of how he lived his life, fearlessly taking on those who disagreed with him, and unabashedly sticking up for what was right, with his faith in God as his guiding light.
As my RedState colleague Jennifer Van Laar reported, Kirk was doing what he loves, speaking to college kids about the Conservative message and dispelling liberal myths, when he was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on Wednesday.
President Donald Trump later reported the heartbreaking news that his dear friend had died at the age of 31, killed by an assassin's bullet.

In what would turn out to be Kirk's final post on this earth, he posted about the horrific killing of 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee who was killed on Charlotte's light rail by a homeless man and repeat criminal offender, who was on the streets due to Democrats' soft-on-crime polices like cashless bail and social justice warrior judges, as RedState reported.
If we want things to change, it's 100% necessary to politicize the senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska because it was politics that allowed a savage monster with 14 priors to be free on the streets to kill her. pic.twitter.com/ZP7cFNDtvx

"If we want things to change, it's 100% necessary to politicize the senseless murder of Iryna Zarutska because it was politics that allowed a savage monster with 14 priors to be free on the streets to kill her," Kirk's last post read.
It included a clip of his comments from a recent podcast interview, in which he talked about the tragic killing of Zarutska. In the video, Kirk said, "I don't like politicizing situations like this, but it just necessitates it because there are so many dynamics at play here." He also called out legacy media's lack of coverage of the story.
Since Kirk's death, others have talked about Kirk and how he was never afraid to speak up for the values that make America great. One of those people was Fox News' Bret Baier, who ended his show on Wednesday with a message about Kirk and pretty much nailed it, as he reflected on Kirk's final post.

Late Wednesday night, President Trump sent a message to Americans from the Oval Office that Kirk's voice will never be silenced, as he also reflected on why Kirk was so loved, RedState reported.
"My fellow Americans, I am filled with grief, anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah," Trump said. "Charlie inspired millions, and tonight all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror."
"Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country that he loved so much, the United States of America," he added. "He fought for liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people. He's a martyr for truth and freedom. And there's never been anyone who was so respected by youth."

“I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived & died. The values of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law & the patriotic devotion & love of God.” https://t.co/FeKSK5pfLi
"This is a dark moment for America," Trump continued. "Charlie Kirk traveled the nation joyfully engaging everyone interested in good faith debate. "On campuses nationwide, he championed his ideas with courage, logic, humor, and grace."
The president then vowed that if the assassin thinks he just silenced Kirk by killing him, he failed.
Trump said, "Together, we will ensure that his voice, his message, and his legacy will live on for countless generations to come."
As he lived his life, we must all remember to live ours fearlessly, too. We have to keep speaking against the wrongs we see committed by liberals in our country. Do not let this silence you. Be as brave as he was.
Please continue to pray for his family and our country.
