Is this a sign that Gavin Newsom is really, really running for POTUS?
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-OfCourse) was spotted over the weekend at a Four Seasons resort in Tamarindo, Mexico, with none other than former president Bill Clinton.

Newsom's wife, Jennifer, was with him, but according to the New York Post Hillary was nowhere to be found.
Clinton was seen sporting a multi-colored short-sleeved shirt and pair of blue shorts while carrying a Panama hat as the sun was shining, photos obtained by The Post show. He was lounging in the back of a golf cart with his legs crossed.
Newsom – dressed in dark clothes and a baseball cap — was joined by his wife Jennifer in the front of the cart, according to the photos.
An eye-witness staying at the ritzy resort did not see former presidential candidate and ex-secretary of state Hillary Clinton.
Bill was apparently staying in a villa that could only be reached by private footpath, but the US Secret Service made sure other guests couldn’t come close to that spot, according to the witness.
Even simple beachfront rooms at the resort run close to $2,000/night; the one villa listed on the resort's website rents for more than $18,000/night.
It's unclear if the entire Newsom family was at the resort or just Gavin and Jennifer, or if the Newsoms were also staying at the villa with Clinton.
The New York Post contacted both the Clinton Foundation and Newsom's office for comment prior to publication, but did not receive a response.
