DHS McLaughlin Promises 'Mugshots Soon' for Activists Who Disrupted MN Church Worship Service

Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had a warning for the Racial Justice Network and BLM activists who terrorized a St. Paul, MN congregation on Sunday: "There will be mugshots."

As RedState and our sister site Townhall reported, these so-called social justice warriors stormed into the Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, in the middle of their worship service, on the premise that one of the church's pastors was associated with ICE. My colleague Nick Arama revealed that former CNN anchor Don Lemon decided to join the terrorists to livestream the protest, because "journalism."

One of the activists used scripture to excuse their terrible behavior, declaring that "Judgment begins at the house of God." Hebrews 10:31 says that, "It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God," so this person and his cohorts may be getting more than they bargained for.

Nekima Levy Armstrong is the brain trust who organized this astroturfed action. As my colleague Bonchie reported, Armstrong posted all the participants on social media because she wanted credit. After all, BLM and their ilk have yet to suffer consequences for their destructive behavior and grievance theater, so why would she worry about it now?

"Educator" Chauntyll Allen was also actively shouting at children that they support murderers. Allen touts herself as "a longtime front-line community organizer, educator and youth activist." Allen heads Black Lives Matter Twin Cities and is on the Minneapolis School Board.

Anti-ICE Protest Leader Who Invaded Minnesota Church Just Did the Dumbest Thing Imaginable

Notice how, after weeks of seeing mostly white and mostly female protesters and escalations of violence that haven't resulted in Summer of Love 2.0, the Left did their usual: trotted out their reliable Black activist groups to try and set a new narrative. With Lemon and MN Attorney General Keith Ellison doing their utmost to backtrack and excuse this protest, it is clear that they have not succeeded. The very fact that these activists are using the death of Renee Good as an excuse to target a church shows they have officially jumped the shark. According to a 2023 Gallup poll, three in four Americans identify with some form of religious faith, and 68 percent identify themselves as Christian. Outside of their leftist bubble, the majority of Americans find it disgusting when churches, and especially children, become targets of left-wing rage.

These geniuses have also managed to put themselves in the crosshairs of the Department of Justice (DOJ). Armstrong and Allen, as well as a number of others (including Lemon), are currently under investigation with the DOJ Civil Rights Division.

My colleague Teri Christoph wrote:

Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon made some media appearances Monday to set the record straight on actions being taken by the Trump DOJ to determine if laws were broken by the ambushers, including former CNN host Don Lemon, and, if so, how the government might move ahead with charges.

For starters, Dhillon put the ambushers on notice that anyone who "paid for, coordinated, or participated in this attack made a big—BIG—mistake." This message might be of particular interest to Don Lemon, who live-streamed himself gathering with the agitators in the church's parking lot ahead of the ambush, then proceeded to show every second of the church service takeover.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. DHS' McLaughlin also made the media rounds to reassure the American people that they are working swiftly to ensure charges are brought against these agitators. On Monday's "Ingraham Angle," McLaughlin told Fox fill-in host Kayleigh McEnany, "We are working swiftly, we think the American people will have answers soon, and there will be justice, and there will be mugshots."

WATCH:

McLaughlin was spot on that the terrorists barging into the church was an example of "ICE hysteria on full display," and "a window into the soul of a lot of these agitators, there's a lot of hatred there."

Tragically, that hatred has ramped up and extended to not just ICE agents, but anyone associated with ICE. McLaughlin appeared Monday on Fox Business as well to discuss the increased stalking and personal and family information of ICE agents being released on the dark web.

We've seen an 8,000 percent increase in death threats against our law enforcement officers. But it's not just our agents and officers being targeted, it's also their families, where their children go to school, where their spouses work, this is all being put on the deep web. We're having our ICE lawyers being stalked and followed on their way home[....]

It's really spiraled out of control.

No matter what justification these communists want to use, their zeal to hold authorities accountable extends to their resentment of the highest authority: God himself. If you can stand to watch the video, you'll notice the fact that when the screeching activists failed to get the response they wanted from the congregants, it enraged them even further. No earthly justice will fix that: Only God can repair a wicked heart.
