On Wednesday, President Donald Trump hosted a donor dinner for the individuals and corporations who are contributing to the construction of the White House ballroom. Guests included corporation representatives from Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Alphabet’s Google, Apple, Amazon.com, and Palantir Technologies. Wealthy individuals included Blackstone CEO Steve Schwarzman and the Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler, among others. During the dinner, Trump addressed the room and unveiled the construction in progress.

President Trump dined with the wealthy donors who have made his dream of the new $250 million ballroom a reality at the White House.

The White House announced in July that the White House State Ballroom “will be a much-needed and exquisite addition” totaling 90,000 square feet with a capacity of 650 people. Construction began last month.

The cost is estimated upwards of $200 million. Mr. Trump thanked the attendees for their contributions.

“For all those years, they wanted it, and now they’re going to get it, and because of you, they’re going to get it. And me too, we’re all in this together,” he said of the ballroom.

“I have so many friends, and so many of you have been really, really generous. I mean, a couple of you … here saying, ‘Sir, would $25 million be appropriate?’ I said, ‘I’ll take it,’” he said.

He called the attendees “legends.”

According to reports, Trump's $22 million payout from a YouTube lawsuit was contributed to the project via the Trust for the National Mall, a non-profit philanthropic partner of the National Park Service. All monies raised for the ballroom ahead of the dinner were also contributed to this fund.

The White House announced the ballroom in July and clearly detailed that President Trump and select donors would be footing the bill for this project, which is expected to cost upward of $200 million.

President Trump, and other patriot donors, have generously committed to donating the funds necessary to build this approximately $200 million dollar structure. The United States Secret Service will provide the necessary security enhancements and modifications.

The White House Ballroom will be substantially separated from the main building of the White House, but at the same time, it’s theme and architectural heritage will be almost identical. The site of the new ballroom will be where the small, heavily changed, and reconstructed East Wing currently sits. The East Wing was constructed in 1902 and has been renovated and changed many times, with a second story added in 1942.

The White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles said the following: “President Trump is a builder at heart and has an extraordinary eye for detail. The President and the Trump White House are fully committed to working with the appropriate organizations to preserving the special history of the White House while building a beautiful ballroom that can be enjoyed by future Administrations and generations of Americans to come.”

This has not stopped the misinformation from spreading, particularly during the government shutdown. The senior senator from Massachusetts, a Democrat who pretends to be for the people, decided to rant about this dinner on X.

WATCH:

First, the senator needs to go back to the Constitution and the separation of powers. Trump will do what he is tasked to do, and he has been doing that: from brokering peace deals to meeting with world leaders. Congress, which includes the body Warren belongs to, runs the day-to-day functions of the government. Yet, despite Democrats' claims of "No Kings," and their plans to hold a big rally to fight Trump's supposed overreach, it is them who continue to demand and act as though Trump is a king. The power to reopen the government is fully in the Democrats' hands, as the Constitution dictates, yet we move into Day 16 with Democrat senators voting 10 times to keep the government closed.

Second, making videos to complain about a project that will beautify the White House and provide a space for all those state dinners and evening events for generations to come, and that is also funded by the president himself and donors — a government project where taxpayers do not have to give a penny — comes off like sour grapes. Warren sounds particularly bitter that YouTube had to pay up for kicking Trump (and others) off the platform, thanks to the censorship that Warren and her ilk demanded.

Facts: Most Americans enjoy the grandeur, pageantry, and elevating the People's House to something other than selling out the Lincoln Bedroom to high-paying donors. In case you didn't know, that was done by a Democrat.

Haters gonna hate. Trump continues to rack up wins and remind the American people what a working executive branch looks like, while the Democrat portion of the legislative branch sits on their backsides and complains.

Oh, and fly to a tony Democrat Napa Valley retreat

Hope Democrats had lots of cheese with their whines.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
