In this Wednesday episode of "How the Media Churns," Secretary of Education Linda McMahon appeared on "CNN This Morning with Kasie Hunt," and gave Hunt heartburn as she explained why Maine Governor Janet Mills has been placed under investigation for civil rights violations because of her insistence on allowing transgender athletes to compete in women and girl's sports. Attorney General Pam Bondi also announced on Wednesday that the Department of Justice has filed a civil lawsuit against the State of Maine over these Title IX violations.
McMahon answered Hunt's question and cogently described to Hunt why men who want to identify as female and compete on girls' sports teams rob the girls of not just opportunity, but safety. Hunt's lack of comprehension was such that McMahon had to reduce her explanation down to smaller words.

“Title nine was established to protect women, to allow them to compete in sports on a level playing field. What has happened now with transgenders, whether it‘s one or two, 22 dozen, or 100…when you start with one, that deprives one… pic.twitter.com/aTfrcGmp57
LINDA MCMAHON ON DOJ LAWSUIT AGAINST MAINE:
“Title IX was established to protect women, to allow them to compete in sports on a level playing field. And so what has happened now with transgenders, whether it‘s one or two, 20, two dozen, 100...well, you start with one, and that deprives one other or a female perhaps from getting a slot for a scholarship, or a slot on the team, or getting beaten out in the competition simply because they‘re competing against a male… …It is just totally unfair, and it‘s against the law. It is absolutely against federal law.”
HUNT’S RESPONSE: Eh…uh..eh…uh…
Between the March interview with Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, where he intellectually bounced Hunt's head off the wall over the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport 200 Tren de Aragua gang members, and now this McMahon interview, Kasie Hunt is having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad month.
Even after McMahon's clear articulation of the facts, Hunt dove for the leftist canard that the Trump administration punishing "two" transgender athletes is an over-the-top response in order to protect the civil rights of thousands of girls and women. Hunt wondered if there was not "a different way forward." McMahon corrected Hunt's fallacious argument and broke down who the real victims were in this circumstance.

McMahon handled it like the professional she is and didn't break a sweat. Hunt, on the other hand, was left in a puddle. It seems to be her constant state when she attempts to school Trump administration cabinet members.
The British Supreme Court has just ruled that a biological woman is the only woman that the nation will legally acknowledge. They have essentially codified that there is no such thing as a transgender woman, and the country no longer needs to twist itself into a pretzel trying to recognize a fiction. That it took a Supreme Court decision to determine what is biological reality is a crime in and of itself; but it appears to be what is required to stem the tide on the transgender agenda.
The U.S. constitutional system of independent states makes this more challenging, but not impossible. As Maine State Rep. Laurel Libby (R-Auburn) affirmed, the residents of Maine are on the side of keeping transgender athletes out of women's and girls' sports. The board of one Maine school district, MSAD 70, voted to align with Title IX and adhere to federal law in defiance of the state. So, it is Gov. Mills who has chosen to double down on progressive orthodoxy despite the desire of her citizens or the requirements of federal law.
Rep. Laurel Libby gives a shoutout to MSAD 70, which voted unanimously to defy the Maine Principals’ Association and uphold federal Title IX laws.

Just like the Democrats rallying to save criminal illegals from deportation and demand they receive due process over the desires of its constituents to see America made safe, the Democrats continue to back losing issues for no other reason than it is in opposition to Trump and his agenda. Should Democrats continue down this road, they will ensure they stay out of power for decades.
Carry on.
Editor's Note: President Trump is fighting to dismantle the Department of Education and ensure America's kids get the education they deserve.
