Stormy Daniels Claims She Accepted Donald Trump's 'Hush Money' Payment Because He Would Have Killed Her

Just when you thought we’d had enough of Stormy Daniels, the former porn star is back on the scene in a brand spanking new documentary released just in time for the general election. The film, which details her alleged entanglement with former President Donald Trump, also comes as Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg pursues a politically motivated prosecution against Trump over the Stormy Daniels affair.

As if this weren’t already absurd enough, Daniels makes a questionable claim in the production: She agreed to take hush money from Trump because she thought he would kill her if she didn’t.

Porn Star Stormy Daniels said in a new documentary that she took hush money from then-candidate Donald Trump to create a paper trail so “he could not have me killed.”

Stormy Daniels — the stage name of the former Stephanie Clifford — is back in the news because of the imminent trial in the case that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has brought involving alleged hush money payments to Daniels, which resulted in a several-dozen-count indictment of Trump.

But on Monday, Peacock dropped the new documentary Stormy, a feature-length film that includes new interviews and footage telling the story of Daniels’s journey into history.

During the segment, Daniels recounted a conversation with a friend who told her, “You might actually have a problem” because she ran afoul of the GOP. “You’re the whole Republican Party’s problem. And they like to make their problems go away,” the friend supposedly told Daniels.

The former adult actress recalled being “very relieved” when Trump’s team allegedly reached out to offer her money because “people have been suspiciously killed for political reasons.”

“It was really about two things: trying to keep the story from coming out so that it would not hurt my husband and my daughter, and I wouldn’t lose my life, and that there would be a paper trail and money trail linking me to Donald Trump so that he could not have me killed.

All I had to do was sign this piece of paper and collect $130,000.”

Of course, this is an obvious effort to dramatize the situation and cast Daniels as an unwitting victim caught up in an intricate web of political intrigue. Perhaps she is hoping a movie will be made about her supposed ordeal someday?

This claim is reminiscent of the time Daniels also claimed after having slept with Trump, she was threatened by a random thug in a Las Vegas parking lot. You might remember this:

Recalling the alleged threat, Daniels said she and her daughter were approached in a parking lot by a man who said: “Oh it’s a beautiful little girl, would be a shame if something happened to her mom. Forget about this story, leave Mr. Trump alone.”

Daniels said she did not report the threat at the time because she would have had to reveal the alleged affair and she was afraid.

“I didn’t want everyone to know. I didn’t want my family to find out that way. I didn’t want my life to turn upside down,” she said.

The artist’s sketch depicts a white male in his 30s or 40s and carries a description of him as “lean but fit.” The image quickly prompted a flurry of online speculation about the person’s identity, with Twitter commentators wildly comparing the image to a number of celebrities, including football player Tom Brady, musician Jon Bon Jovi and actor Willem Dafoe.

Interestingly enough, others pointed out that the person Daniels’ described also happened to look like her ex-husband.

Daniels’ story is about as hard to swallow as a jar of marbles. The notion that Trump or the Republican Party were going to have her killed is absurd. But it’s easy to see what is happening here.

The documentary was obviously made to influence the outcome of the upcoming presidential election and capitalize on Bragg’s prosecution of the former president. But if they think this is going to move the needle, they might want to go back to the drawing board.
