It appears all is not well in the house of Herschel Walker, who is currently running to unseat Sen. Raphael Warnock (D-GA). People on the left and right have questioned the NFL legend’s candidacy even though he received former President Donald Trump’s endorsement. But now, his 22-year-old son, Christian Walker, has denounced his father’s bid to become one of Georgia’s senators.
Christian, who became a conservative social media influencer a few years ago, took to Twitter on Monday evening to blast his father for ignoring the family’s pleas for him not to run for office. He wrote:
Every family member of Herschel Walker asked him not to run for office, because we all knew (some of) his past. Every single one. He decided to give us the middle finger and air out all of his dirty laundry in public, while simultaneously lying about it.
I’m done.

Christian, who also hosts the “Uncancellable” podcast, also accused Herschel of “lying and making a mockery” of Christian and his mom, accusing him of violent threats and infidelity:
I know my mom and I would really appreciate if my father Herschel Walker stopped lying and making a mockery of us.
You’re not a “family man” when you left us to bang a bunch of women, threatened to kill us, and had us move over 6 times in 6 months running from your violence.

Christian went on to say accuse his father of hypocrisy. He tweeted:
I don’t care about someone who has a bad past and takes accountability. But how DARE YOU LIE and act as though you’re some “moral, Christian, upright man.” You’ve lived a life of DESTROYING other peoples lives. How dare you.

Herschel Walker has been plagued by “dirty laundry” that has come up at various points during the campaign season. The Daily Beast, in particular, has been pretty aggressive in dredging up issues from the NFL legend’s past. Earlier this year, the far-left outlet reported that Herschel had children that he had supposedly kept secret and did not have contact with despite being a vocal critic of absentee fathers. However, Herschel’s campaign countered by noting that he had disclosed his other children when he filled out a form in 2018 to be appointed to former President Donald Trump’s Council on Sports.
Nevertheless, the former athlete still received criticism for not speaking publicly about his estranged children.
Herschel’s issues with mental illness and domestic violence were also used against him during primary season when one of his opponents seeking the Republican nomination brought up his past issues. While the former football player had already discussed these problems publicly, noting that he had made amends with his former wife, who is Christian’s mother, Democrats have also leveraged this part of his past.
Now, The Daily Beast has also reported that a woman is accusing Herschel of having paid for an abortion in 2009. She claims he urged her to terminate her pregnancy and even paid for the procedure. “She supported these claims with a $575 receipt from the abortion clinic, a ‘get well’ card from Walker, and a bank deposit receipt that included an image of a signed $700 personal check from Walker,” according to the site.
The woman said she came forward because of Herschel’s opposition to abortion.
“I just can’t with the hypocrisy anymore,” she said. “We all deserve better.”
Currently, the RealClearPolitics average polling has Herschel and Warnock neck-in-neck with the Democrat having less than a one percentage point lead over his challenger.
