For Gary Johnson to make the GOP presidential debate stage, he has to hit an average of 15% in the national polls. He is currently sitting at 8% with the first debate scheduled for September 26th. There is some talk of changing the rules to make it easier for him to be on the stage. That will undoubtedly be fought hard by both the Trump and Clinton campaigns. They don’t want Gary Johnson anywhere near the debate stage.

You see, that’s what Trump and Clinton are afraid of. Johnson is easygoing and comfortable in his own skin. He’s this easygoing even when talking to a journalist from CNN or ABC. He’d do well on the debate stage. It’s what would introduce Johnson to millions of others who don’t know who he is or what he stands for.
