The Trump administration has accomplished more at the U.S. border in nine months than any administration in history. For all intents and purposes, the border is closed. Now, ICE and Border Czar Tom Homan have continued the heightened focus of removing criminal illegals inside the lower 48. This, of course, has set off Democratic leaders on the left who, for some reason, would rather have criminals roaming their streets. The good news for all Americans? President Trump is not going to allow that to happen. However, that doesn't mean the left will help with those efforts. In fact, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, in a very bizarre video message, has asked the United Nations to step in and stop the ICE raids that are removing these criminals. No, I am not making this up.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson: The federal governments immigration enforcement has been marked by violence and an assault on the dignity of all Chicagans. I call on this council to hold the federal government of the United States to the same standards of accountiblity you apply elsewhere in the world. No country should be above international law. I urge the Human Right Council to consider additional measures, incuding a special session to examine the worsening human rights crisis in the United States.
What an absolutely moronic take. He is asking the United Nations to hold the U.S. "accountable" for upholding our own laws. I've seen some insane opinions in my day, and this one is up there towards the top. Hilariously, Czar Homan had the same reaction.

"He's just proving he's not that smart, right?" Tom Homan is all of us. New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani didn't escape the Homan wrath either after his threat to ICE agents working in the city.
NYC Mayor-Elect Mamdani: I say this to ICE agents and to everyone across this city, is that everyone will be held to the same standard of the law. If you violate the law you must be held accountable. And, there is sadly, a sense that is growing across this country that certain people are allowed to violate that law whether they be the President of the agents themselves.
After highlighting this statement from Mamdani, the Fox reporter outlines the growing threat ICE agents are currently facing across these sanctuary cities, with a reported 800 percent increase in assaults against ICE agents. After praising Attorney General Pam Bondi's historic level of prosecutions, Homan went after Mamdani directly.
Homan: We are going to continue to prosecute. Mamdani needs to take a look at what happened in Chicago. Mayor Johnson pushed back, he's not helpful. Guess what? We are arresting thousands of people in Chicago every week...All these mayors who don't want their communities safer, they can scream and yell and protest all they want, we're going to be out there tomorrow and the next day...We're hiring 10,000 new officers, they'll be flodding the zone of sanctuary cities...We're going to make New York City safer again, with or without him, we'd like his partnership, but if he wants to stand by and let us do his job for him, that's what we'll do.
Imagine being on Tom Homan's bad side? What Homan is stating here is an obvious fact. President Trump promised to make our cities safer, and that's exactly what the government is doing. Far-left mayors can call on the United Nations, but the only person who is going to answer the call is Tom Homan and our ICE agents. Remember, illegal crossings at the southern border are at historic lows. Now, it's time to remove the criminal aliens who are wreaking havoc on our great cities.
