Is Hillary's Health Now a Legitimate Presidential Campaign Issue (Video)

Even the biased media wing of the Democrats’ Party must now admit that Hillary Clinton’s health is a legitimate issue in the presidential campaign between Hillary and Donald Trump. Hillary, her campaign and supporters in the media will no longer be able to get away with belittling people who dare to question Clinton’s health by calling them sexist conspiracy theorists.

Hillary suffered a “medical episode” (UPDATE: We now know it to be pneumonia) that required her to leave a 9/11 commemoration ceremony early on Sunday:

An unnamed law enforcement source told US broadcaster Fox News Mrs. Clinton had suffered a “medical episode” which required her to leave the New York ceremony early.

She appeared to faint on her way to her van, Fox said.

Video posted by Brandon confirms that the 68-year-old Hillary, who is seeking to tie Ronald Reagan as the oldest president, collapsed as she was put into a van to leave the 9/11 commemoration ceremony:

The Clinton campaign tried to pass it off as “overheating“:

“Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just one hour and 30 minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so departed to go to her daughter’s apartment, and is feeling much better,” Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill said in a statement.

When you couple today’s “medical episode” with the coughing episodes she had last week, one during a campaign event and another one during an airplane press gaggle, it was obvious she was ill. Yet they tried hard to sell the overheating line, and the media was happy to go along without question.

Even the Washington Post‘s Chris Cillizza agrees that the Clinton campaign can no longer avoid Hilary’s heath issue:

Whereas Clinton and her campaign could laugh off questions about her health before today, the “overheating” episode makes it almost impossible for them to do so. Not only has it come at a time when there was growing chatter — with very little evidence — that her health was a problem but it also happened at a 9/11 memorial event — an incredibly high-profile moment with lots and lots of cameras and reporters around.

[. . .]

Clinton may well be totally fine — and I certainly hope she is. But we are 58 days away from choosing the person who will lead the country for the next four years, and she is one of the two candidates with a real chance of winning. Taking the Clinton team’s word for it on her health — in light of the obvious overing up on Sunday morning — is no  longer enough. Reasonable people can — and will —  have real questions about her health.

It never should have been avoided at all. Even yesterday, after Americans watched as she collapsed and her limp form was lifted into a van, they covered it up and the press and the left screamed at the injustice of daring discuss it.

Voters deserve to know the true nature of both candidates’ medical issues so they can decide whether they believe they are healthy enough to be president. It’s way past time for Hillary to come clean about her health, and to be open about any health problems. If only Hillary hadn’t so severely injured her ability to tell the truth.
