President Donald Trump wants Hamas to know to that the peace agreement between them and Israel is to be honored, and he put a big "or else" on the table if they don't abide.
Speaking to the press, Trump spoke on the deal stating, "we made a deal with Hamas," and that "they're going to be good, they're going to behave, they're going to be nice."
He then gave the consequences if the terrorist group decided not to be any of those things.
"If they're not, we're going to eradicate them if we have to," said Trump.
Trump noted that while he doesn't believe Hamas leadership had anything to do with it, there were some rebellious people within Hamas who murdered people after the deal was made.
"This is a very violent group of people, and they got very rambunctious and they did things that they shouldn't be doing," continued Trump. "And if they keep doing it, we're going to go in and straighten it out, and it will happen very quickly, and pretty violently, unfortunately."

Before people get the "we" part of Trump's statement twisted, Trump made it clear that if it comes to violently eradicating Hamas, America will not be putting any boots on the ground. Instead, Trump says other countries will willingly go in and take care of the situation themselves, including Israel, making it sound like Trump will simply stand back and let Israel continue to do the job it was already doing, and with his blessing.

As RedState previously reported, Trump organized a peace deal between Israel and Hamas, and while Israel upheld its end of the bargain, Hamas quickly walked back in and began carrying out reprisals and executions against those merely accused of collaborating with Israel.

As my colleague Ward Clark noted in his own article, unconfirmed reports of the murders include women and children. This could kick off a civil war in Gaza between mIlitia groups which could spill over into Israeli-controlled areas, bringing the IDF back into the fray.
Trump's warning to Hamas seems to be centered around this, noting that he will allow other countries, including Israel, to begin eradicating Hamas in order to keep the peace. This may well include countries like Israel aligning with certain factions within Gaza, giving it a more collaborative feel instead of just an all-out war between a terrorist organization and a country.
If that happens, I can't imagine there will be a lot of wind left in the sails of the "free Palestine" crowd, as Israel will effectively be working toward that goal alongside other nations and Gaza residents. It will be difficult for the left to reframe this as anything other than an actual freedom movement, but with Israel's hand on the wheel, they can probably claim it as "nation building."
Regardless, no matter what happens, Hamas ends up on the losing end. Either they'll wipe themselves out or Israel will do it for them.
