If the left says it's a virtue, there's something sinister hiding underneath. It's an undeniable pattern at this point.
One of the things I'm tired to death of hearing about is how great "multiculturalism" is. Like all things the left promotes, it's virtuous at a glance, but the moment you start scratching the surface, you can see just how virtuous it's not.
To be clear, "multiculturalism" as it's been sold today is a mask. It's not actually a mix of cultures coming together to live in harmony and "enrich" each other. If it were, then there would be no minimization of one culture to artificially empower the other, but this is exactly what happens, and the culture being minimized is always Western culture.
You can see this happening in both the U.K. and the U.S., but the left is far more open about it in Britain.
As my friend and colleague Ward Clark reported on Sunday, the British are gathering together to protest "asylum seekers" who've come to the U.K. illegally to supposedly get away from their awful countries, where living is a struggle, but then refuse to assimilate and commit heinous crimes against the British people. This includes rape gangs and sexual assaults against British women.

Unforgivably, the U.K. government — which is a far-left mire of ideological radicalism — hardly lifts a finger to protect British citizens, and is doing its absolute best to speed the collapse of the U.K. by fast-tracking the legalization of illegal immigrants, and what's more, ignoring the pleas and needs of British citizens.
In fact, the U.K. government goes above and beyond to punish British citizens for even complaining about it online. You've probably seen videos of police showing up at the doors of British households and either giving them warnings or even arresting them for simply speaking out in a way the government didn't like.
The British are also pushing back in various ways. They've begun openly showing their pride by putting up English flags and Union Jacks, which local authorities then tear down. Funny that this isn't happening to other flags, such as the Palestinian flags.
What about any of this is "multicultural?"
From where I'm sitting, this sure looks like cultural erasure. Western culture is being overtaken by a foreign one that refuses to assimilate, and it can't even express itself, celebrate its own existence, and is punished for pushing back.
In a multicultural world, there would be no holds on this level of self-expression, but there clearly is. One culture is clearly made lesser in the face of the other. There's nothing "multi" about this. It's one culture dominating another.
In the U.S., this is also happening, but not as successfully, especially with Donald Trump at the helm. The left cannot stand the sight of an American flag and spits on American patriotism. In places where it has control, like schools, the left may even punish the expression of American pride.
Before Trump's election, foreign flags were being flown, and American flags were taken down at college campuses. You probably remember the famous photo of some frat boys holding up and guarding the American flag as pro-Palestine (pro-Hamas) protesters raged around them.

Illegal immigrants who came here to "seek asylum" committed grievous crimes against American citizens, and our plight was ignored. Our protests were called "racist" or "xenophobic."
Meanwhile, the leftists driving this "multicultural" effort are always pretty open about how awful they believe Western culture actually is. They minimize it. Call everything about it "stolen." Boil it down to a single, guilty race. Talk endlessly about Western culture's sins as if it had no virtues. It's "racist," and "sexist," and "homophobic," and worst of all, it's "Judeo-Christian." They talk as if it needs the infusion of other cultures to truly achieve greatness and rid itself of its constant sinful nature, while inviting in other cultures that truly represent those other social sins unapologetically.
This isn't about creating a better world. This is about destroying a culture that the left hates.
The funny part is, the multiculturalism that the left pretends to covet so much has already been achieved by the West, especially in the United States of America, where it established the famous "melting pot." Cultures came from all over to participate in the construction of the greatest nation to ever exist, and despite our many differences, traditions, and customs, we fused together under established rules that made us equals. All you had to do was follow the rules.
The left conveniently ignores this in its attempt to paint the West as awful, staying largely silent about the fact that if we were truly so xenophobic and racist, there would be no chance for these "asylum seekers" to be here in the first place.
But again, this isn't about helping the needy, enriching cultures, or whatever false virtue the left likes to use as a shield to cover their real agenda: the erasure of the West, which it hates unabashedly.
