The Left's Latest Attempt to Get Men to Join the Party Is Proof They Still Don't Think Highly of Them

The Democrat Party is still desperate to get men back into their ranks, not because they truly care enough about them to want them to be a part of their future, but because they need warm bodies to pull the lever for them. What happens to men between power grabs isn't a concern for them.

The left hates men. They've spent the last decade telling us so through popular media, news reports, and marches.

As such, the Democrats have been doing something increasingly stupid, which is not try to meet men where they are, but try to convince men that being a man is something other than what nature entails. Masculinity, the essence of the male species, has been dragged through the mud, denounced, and endlessly redefined as something more feminine.

And men didn't bite. In fact, the Democrat Party's efforts to shove Tim Walz and Pedro Pascal in our faces repeatedly has only caused more men to walk away from the left, and head to the greener pastures of the Republican Party.

I used to simply say that Democrats fundamentally misunderstand men, and that's absolutely true, but the root of that fundamental misunderstanding lies in the fact that they think men are just horrible people.

Case in point, as my colleague Becky Noble reported on Thursday, Democrat minds in the media are now floating the idea that the Democrats should become the "pro-porn party."

As you can probably guess, the idea here is that men love seeing women naked and want to see debaucheries done upon these naked women, and so it only makes sense for the Democrat Party to embrace pornography in order to attract men. Specifically, as Noble puts it, it will "help young men decide which of the Democrats' favorite victim groups they belong to."

This also allows them to make pornography a First Amendment issue, as Republican states like Texas have required pornographic sites to request age verification to make sure minors could not watch or even participate in the creation of pornographic material. This caused major sites like PornHub to throw a hissy fit and block their own site's access in those states under the excuse that they're trying to protect their users' identities.

So as you can probably guess, Democrats seem to have it in their head that they can get men on board by proclaiming they, too, love porn and want it to be accessible to men, but those dastardly Republicans are stopping it from happening. Put on your blue face makeup, don your kilt, and scream they'll never take our smut.

And if that's how they see men... then they don't see men.

Yes, it's true, men love to see naked women. A lot of our time and effort it spent trying to get one of them in our house, possibly in perpetuity. But to think this is our prime concern is buying into stereotypical nonsense pushed relentlessly by men's worst critics on the feminist left. They're effectively high on their supply, and believe that men are, indeed, just a body with two brains, and the brain that does most of the thinking is kept behind a zipper.

But men are more complex despite our simplicity.

We actually do want deeper connection and meaning in our relationships. The idea that "men only want one thing" is nonsense, we want many things.

We want a loving wife who, yes, does get naked for us sometimes.

We want a healthy family that we can provide for and protect.

We want a warm home where love and care are in good supply.

We want a stable job that let's us establish this home.

We want respect from our colleagues, our community, and our government.

These are the things men want most. Every other good thing is just bonus material.

Yet, the Democrats continue to miss these things and continue thinking of men in shallow terms. First they wanted to redefine masculinity, and then they tried to attract us with "permission structures," which is something more appealing to women than men. Now, they're trying to get us to join up by saying they'll fight for digitally transmitted sex.

Not help us set the stage for a loving home with real sex, but to watch other men have sex with women we'll never meet or truly care about.

If that's their newest solution... they don't think very highly of us.
