There are no two ways about it. Little doubt is left to be had on the subject. The fires in Maui that cost the lives of over 1,000 people is one of the biggest Democrat failures in recent history. But not only did they fail to stop the fires and help the people, but what happened after the fact only adds to the disgust.
As RedState has been reporting, the failures in Maui started even before the fire with outdated infrastructure and proper electrical line maintenance. During the fire, Democrat officials withheld the water that was necessary to put the fires out for hours before finally approving it a little too late. They even threw a $700 pittance at Maui residents as if that would make things better.
It was then on Tuesday that insult was added to injury as President Joe Biden flew down to Maui and compared the tragedy that had just occurred to a kitchen fire he once had that almost burned his Corvette, even seeming to fall asleep during a meeting of the fire's victims. Then, after a handful of hours, he boarded Air Force One and jetted off to another vacation.
Meanwhile, Democrats are standing on the wreckage and the dead in order to push the climate change narrative.
It's enough to make you puke.
It was definitely enough to make one unnamed citizen fly off on a righteous tangent that was so well put that you can't help but feel the same rage and heartbreak that he does.

The rant seems to have taken place right after Biden had given the awful speech that made the Maui fires about him and his kitchen fire. The man's outrage over him cracking jokes and telling useless stories after small children died scared and alone among the flames is enough to put you on the verge of tears and make you want to hug your children.
It's a rant that truly puts the entirety of the failure of the Democrats, from the local up to the federal, in crystal clear focus.
What makes it resonate so well is the fact that it's a feeling that a great deal of Americans have felt during this administration's time in power. While the focus is Maui, this is about more than Maui. This is about an entire swath of problems that the Democrats have created under their leadership.
It's the economy. It's the lockdowns and vaccine mandates. It's CRT and the sexualization of children. It's the botched Afghanistan withdrawal and the billions to Ukraine. It's Hunter Biden's crimes and a wholly unsecured border. It's crime-ridden streets and a weaponized justice system against the Democrat's enemies. It's the lies, the hypocrisies, and failure after failure after failure.
And now Maui where, as the man said, children died alone and terrified because the island's Democrat leadership refused to act appropriately, and all of it was swept aside by their supposed leader for a joke and a selfish sob story that lacked so much self-awareness it confirms that Biden truly has departed from his mind.
The building frustrations have become pure outrage and anger. We're currently living in dark times and while there is a myriad of contributing factors, many of the threads lead back to the country's leadership, or more accurately, its lack thereof.
Biden and the Democrats have to go.
