Things got heated to the point of almost coming to blows as concerned parents in Penfield, New York, after school board member William Yaeger called one father an “a**hole” over some rules about masks and critical race theory-based curriculum.
According to the Daily Wire, Rich Tyson, who has a daughter attending a Penfield school, watched as Yeager made rude, dismissive gestures towards parents as they voiced concerns and objections over mask policies and the “diversity, equity, and inclusion” curriculum for the school.
Yeager was called out for the gesture by an older woman who asked him “what is that?” In reaction, he made the gesture again, this time openly mocking her. That was when Tyson stepped in and told Yeager he needs to be more respectful.
“Be respectful!” Tyson yelled. “You’re an elected representative representing us, this isn’t about you, bud.”
“You’re not gonna stand up here and do anything to me, a**hole,” Yaeger yelled back.
At that point, Tyson left his seat and made his way to the stage where he mounted it and approached Yeager. From there you can see many people begin to restrain Yeager while Tyson tells him off.

Tyson gave his side of the story to WROC-TV, noting that if Yeager wasn’t restrained it probably would have resulted in things getting physically violent:
“He (Yaeger) started kind of motioning for me to come toward the stage, which I did start walking, then he dropped an F-bomb on me,” Tyson told WROC. “That’s when I walked and jumped up on the stage, not to be physically confrontational, but I wanted to address it with him face to face. By the time I got there he had become essentially unhinged.”
“The superintendent, Dr. [Thomas] Putnam, and a few other board members were basically having to restrain him,” Tyson continued. “He was like, you know, ‘I’m going to take you outside’ kind of stuff. And I just basically went up there to tell him ‘you’re not being respectful, you’re not representing us, and get the h*** out of here, get out of this board meeting.’”
“I’m a passionate parent and there were many others in the room and we all felt kind of disrespected by his cavalier attitude toward our comments,” the father asserted.
Judging by the build of Tyson and his very direct walk, it’s clear that while he may have said he just wanted words, he was willing and ready to teach Yeager a lesson, and Yeager would have deserved it. The point of these meetings is for the school board to listen to the wishes of the parents and act upon them. Yeager was clearly more loyal to his politics, so much so to the point where he was willing to be overtly disrespectful and confrontational on top of that.
While this is the first time in recent memory things became this heated and confrontational, loyalty to extremist politics in public schools is a massive problem in our nation.
Recently, exposed emails show a principal calling parents who stand against CRT “wackos” and began attempting to find ways to silence them. Parents who spoke out against CRT in Virginia are now being harassed by leftist groups. One California county was urging teachers to hide the fact that they were teaching CRT curriculum from parents and even school administrators. One Philadelphia school is much the same while teaching children to believe in “black communism.”
And these are just the extremists that we’ve uncovered. It’s a safe bet to believe there are far more in this nation’s school systems attempting to indoctrinate children into believing Marxist theories.
This is just another example of why parents need to watch their children’s schools like hawks, and that it’s the parents that are the only line of defense against these extremists.
