There is a revealing paradox taking place in the press right now, where they are both clamouring to have the government release documents (the Epstein files) while at the same time complaining about the release of government documents (the reports on Russian collusion). What is remarkable is seeing the very press that could not stop talking about Russia for years — absent any evidence — now recoiling and refusing to indulge and investigate the released evidence.
We also saw Hunter Biden crawl out from his hovel and sit for a 3-hour interview. His profanity-laden blathering was all over the map, and yet as he sounded unhinged throughout most of it, Jonathan Karl of ABC News seemed to take his words as a straightforward sober commentary. Not an approach anyone should take with Hunter.
Then we close out by revisiting Donie O’Sullivan, CNN’s resident extremism correspondent. We wanted to find out if he had discovered any extremism from the left, but he was busy insulting those who were accurately discussing the viral outbreak during the pandemic.
