Affidavit Reveals Joe Biden's Brother Was Hired to Negotiate Secret Saudi Deal Because of the Then-Vice President

Just how deep do the corrupt dealings of the Biden family go? That’s a question once again being asked after a new report from The Daily Mail that is being labeled as a “bombshell.”

According to an affidavit, which stems from a dispute between three legal firms and a US construction company, Joe Biden’s brother, Jim Biden, was selected to negotiate a secret deal with the Saudi government because of his relationship with the then-vice president. At the time, Joe Biden was leading delegations to the Middle Eastern nation, and the belief was that the Saudis “would not dare stiff the brother of the Vice-President who would be instrumental to the deal.”

Further, per Thomas Sullivan, the former US Treasury official who provided the affidavit, Jim Biden’s wife said that the two brothers “told each other everything,” again discrediting the notion that Joe Biden was completely aloof about the business dealings of his family members.

Jim Biden was selected because Saudi Arabia ‘would not dare stiff the brother of the Vice-President who would be instrumental to the deal,’  bombshell affidavits obtained by DailyMail.com allege.

Joe’s younger brother Jim, 73, was at the center of a $140million settlement negotiation between Hill International and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2012.

According to the documents, Jim told a former senior US Treasury official working as a private investigator that he was hired to negotiate with the Saudis ‘because of his position and relationship’ to VP Joe Biden – who led delegations to Saudi Arabia at the time.

This seems very similar to the deal Hunter Biden had with Ukrainian gas company Burisma. According to the official narrative, it was just a coincidence that Joe Biden’s son was making $80,000 per month from Burisma while the then-vice president was in charge of US foreign policy in the nation. At the time, Hunter Biden was also providing very detailed information on the operations of Russian oligarchs, the kind of information you’d expect only an intelligence agency to have. But again, that’s all a coincidence. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

In this latest case, Jim Biden admitted to a private investigator that he was hired because of his brother to negotiate a secret back-door deal with the Saudis. We are to believe that was just another coincidence given that Joe Biden was leading foreign policy in that nation too. There were 195 countries on earth at the time, and by pure chance, the president’s immediate family members just so happened to be making boatloads of cash in countries he was intimately involved in as vice president. So many coincidences.

Yet, if we are to believe Jim Biden’s wife, Joe Biden knew about the deal and did nothing to stop the raging conflict of interest.

Sullivan claimed the President’s brother told him: ‘Of course, the [Biden] name didn’t hurt’, and Jim’s wife Sara, who was present, allegedly said that Joe and his brother ‘told each other everything.’

‘[Biden] stated that he was often sent to meetings to represent Hill because ‘of course, the name didn’t hurt,’ and he was the former Vice-President’s brother, or words to that effect. He repeated this statement at least twice during the interview.

‘I asked specifically if he had attended a meeting with the Saudi Ministry of Trade in mid-February 2012 to receive the final payment for the work Hill had performed. He answered that, to the best of his memory, he had been at such a meeting, and that the reason he had attended was “because of his position and relationship” with his brother.’

Will anything come of this? Perhaps the law firms seeking to recoup the cash Jim Biden and the construction company allegedly stole will win their civil case. On a public accountability level, though, this simply provides more fodder to the ongoing House GOP investigation into the rampant corruption of the Biden family. The outcome of that will likely be electoral and not legal given how compromised the current DOJ is.
