We've reported on all sorts of anti-ICE nuttiness in Minnesota this weekend, as crazed demonstrators reportedly stole a $1,000 camera from investigative journalist Nick Sortor, harassed regular citizens because they “looked like” ICE agents, impeded agents trying to investigate an alleged child sex predator, and — perhaps worst of all — mobbed a St. Paul church right in the middle of a service.
All of these acts are beyond the point of decency, but the invasion of a house of worship may bring the harshest consequences for the miscreants. Unfortunately for them, there are laws against these kinds of things, and the Department of Justice is promising to enforce them.
Former Trump personal attorney and now Senior Adviser to the U.S. Attorney General Alina Habba told Fox News Monday that “everybody” involved in the spectacle will come under the microscope:
The department launched an investigation after dozens of agitators burst into the Cities Church sanctuary during a service, attendees of the church told Fox News Digital. The mob stormed the building believing that one of the pastors was the acting director of ICE's St. Paul field office.
"The FACE Act is a long-standing federal statute that prohibits force, threats, obstruction, any kind of interference with a religious place of worship. And it carries criminal penalties and violations," Habba said Monday on "Fox & Friends."
Watch:
This DOJ under @AGPamBondi leadership will not tolerate intimidating people in their place of worship. We will not tolerate intimidation of federal law endorcement, and we most certainly will investigate and prosecute anyone who encourages, funds or incites the same. You are on notice. 🔨

Habba also said the DOJ will be looking into who’s funding these operations, and would be dealing out consequences to those shadowy figures:
"If you are funding mass protests, if you are having protests that are not righteous protests — there are First Amendment rights that we respect — but that are putting people in risk, not allowing people to go to church, this Department of Justice will come down on you."
Habba, like Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, said the protesters may be in violation of the FACE Act, a federal law designed to protect people’s access to reproductive health clinics or places of worship.
Your First Amendment right to peacefully protest does not override other people's First Amendment right to worship.

This protest violated the FACE Act.

NOT SMART: Anti-ICE Protest Leader Who Invaded Minnesota Church Just Did the Dumbest Thing Imaginable
Habba said the DOJ and the attorney general would be coming with some “hard” consequences for the protesters:
Habba said Attorney General Pam Bondi would "come down hard on anybody who tries to impede or intimidate somebody in a place of worship or a police officer or an ICE officer."
"It's just not going to happen in this administration, and Pam is making that very clear," she added.
Let’s hope they mean what they say. These protesters have been acting like thugs all along, but to invade a church in the middle of a service? That’s a new low, even for them.
Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
