'Somebody Is Not Telling the Facts'—Trump Has Questions About Biden's Cancer Diagnosis

On Sunday, following former President Biden’s bombshell announcement that he was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic prostate cancer, President Trump sent a sober, appropriate message:

As I wrote, it was a fitting message to Biden, and immediately following the announcement was not the time to fire off with political hot takes.

However, “we can—and will—get back to our regularly scheduled programming another day,” I argued—and now it’s another day.

Doctors, medical professional and even leftist media pundits have lots and lots of question about the timing of the announcement, coming as it did on the heels of Fake News Chief Jake Tapper’s “exposé” on the Great Biden Mental Cover-Up and the release of audio from the former president’s disastrous interview with then-Special Counsel Robert Hur.

On Monday, the president spoke to reporters and expressed some of the concerns that many have about the matter:

"I'm surprised that … you know, the public wasn't notified a long time ago because to get to stage nine [sic], that's a long time," Trump said. "I just had my physical. … We had the doctors at the White House and over at Walter Reed, which is a fantastic hospital. I did a very complete physical, including cognitive tests."

Trump also referenced Biden's cognitive decline during his presidency, stating that "anybody running for president should take a cognitive test."

"They say it's unconstitutional. But I would say in that particular case, having a cognitive test wouldn't be so bad," the Republican said.

The president’s son Donald Jr. also has questions:

Trump Sr. basically asked the same question as his son: Is this another cover-up? Emphasis mine:

Trump also posited that the public "wasn't informed" about Biden's medical situation and suggested that the situation should be investigated.

"I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor if it's the same, or even if it's two separate doctors," Trump said. "Why wasn't the cognitive ability, why wasn't that discussed? And I think the doctor said he's just fine. And it's turned out that's not so. It's very dangerous."

The president concluded by saying the cancer diagnosis is "a very, very sad situation and I feel very badly about it."

"I think people should try and find out what happened, because I'll tell you … I don't know if it had anything to do with the hospital," Trump added. "Walter Reed is really good. There's some of the best doctors I've ever seen."

"Somebody is not telling the facts," he concluded. "It's a big problem."

Biden’s health issue is a serious concern for him and his family, and as I said in my earlier piece, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, even if I have been harshly critical of the man and his policies. That being said, when there are obvious—and extremely serious questions—that need to be asked, we can’t stick our heads in the sand and pretend it will all go away because we have sympathy for his condition.

Many, many pundits and observers have at this point come to the conclusion that “something is rotten in the state of Denmark,” and there’s a lot that we need an answer for.
