Axios has now released the full Special Counsel Robert Hur interview of Joe Biden about the classified documents that were found at his home and office. The interview tok place over two days, October 8 and 9, 2023, with Hur and his Deputy Special Counsel Marc Krickbaum. There are more than five hours of audio.
As we've reported, the audio clips previously released show how bad Biden was, not even remembering the date of his son's death, or when President Donald Trump became president the first time in January, 2017.
Then there was the tense moment when Biden's attorney, Bob Bauer, intervened to clean up an answer Biden gave about why he had a classified memo, when Biden answered to a leading question that he was keeping it for posterity's sake. Biden also rambled about things that had nothing to do with the interview, including technology like the Gutenberg printing press and having once shoot a bow and arrow in Mongolia.
Breaking: Partial Audio of Special Counsel Hur Interview With Joe Biden Released
Now, the full audio is revealing more concerning moments. It's going to take a while to go through the five hours. We're going through that now, so we'll update you if we find any more interesting parts.
Here's one moment where Biden made a joke to begin with about being a "young man," so it wasn't a problem for him to remember.
But another immediate problem that Axios pointed out was how Biden's answers when he was being grilled about classified information were inconsistent. They ask him what he meant when he said "I just found all the classified stuff downstairs" to his ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer. This is brutal,;Biden is so confused and doesn't seem to know what he's saying from one minute to the next.
Biden states he doesn't recall saying that, and that he doesn't recall finding the classified information. He says he doesn't remember telling Mark about the handwritten memo he wrote to Barack Obama.
Then, in the next breath, he confirms he did talk with him about the memo, saying he didn't want what was said about the memo, about Barack Obama, to be written. He appears more concerned that what he's saying might appear to be critical of Barack Obama in the book by the ghostwriter, "Don't write about that, that's off the record...That's not something I want to be talking about in the book about Beau."
So, is it all confusion, or is there obfuscation going on there as well?
Either way, he's a man who should not have been occupying the Oval Office. If he's such an "elderly man with a poor memory," he shouldn't have been in that seat. All the people involved in the cover-up need to be held accountable, because this has to rank up there in the country as one of the biggest scandals of all time.
