This Is Why We Fight: Rachel Morin's Mom Delivers One of the Most Heartbreaking Moments I've Ever Seen

It was a routine White House press briefing, just another workday in Washington, DC. Tariffs, taxes, budgets—these are the things that normally are the subject of discussion as we maneuver through complex times and a relatively new administration, and all the challenges we face as a nation.

But Wednesday was different.

The mother of a murder victim took to the podium. The mother of a woman who was brutally raped and murdered by an illegal alien. The mom of a mother-of-five who should still be with us now, but who is not because of Joe Biden’s despicable border policies which allowed virtually anyone who was capable of breathing to enter our country illegally.

I’m not usually prone to tears, but I’m not embarrassed to tell you that I reached for the Kleenex box when I heard her incredibly powerful words as she spoke about what happened to her daughter and the unfathomable pain it has brought on her and her family.

It is a brutal, sad tragedy—and it never should have happened.

This is the legacy that Joe Biden leaves, that sanctuary city Democrats leave, that AOC and Gavin Newsom and so many others have wrought upon our country. May they live in shame.

As a father of four children, I was reduced to a sniffling mess when listening to this powerful testimony. I will not transcribe it fully, because frankly, the sick violent details are too disturbing to type, but hear her words for yourself:

Charlie Kirk's tweet continues:

Meanwhile, they have never cared about women like Rachel Morin: Actual American citizens who just wanted to live their lives in peace, and who instead were butchered for the sake of corporate bottom lines and Washington virtue signaling.

They should all be ashamed.

If you're not wanting to listen to the satanic details, I understand. The takeaway is that this assailant no longer deserves to be breathing oxygen on this planet.

What happened to her daughter was simply unspeakable. Somehow, despite her pain, Patty was able to deliver a message to America:

"Please tell the truth," Patty Morin begged reporters on her way out as they expressed their condolences and thanked her for speaking.

"Tell the truth, tell how violent it really is," Morin added. "This is about protecting our children. It's more than just politics or votes or just anything. It's about national security, protecting Americans, protecting our kids."

Sometimes I almost waver when faced with the onslaught of my liberal family members’ opinions or the endless waves of the leftist media complex telling me I’m a MAGA racist freak full of loathing and that all of us conservatives exist merely to sow discord and hate.

And then I see things like this, and I remember, this is why we fight. This is why they’re wrong, so powerfully wrong in so many ways, despite their do-gooder rantings. And there are consequences. This isn’t a fight for the next policy win; it’s a fight for the future of America. I’m not sure what has gone so off-kilter with the progressives—many of whom I know and like as individuals—but they are now endorsing evils like this (and men smashing women in sports) that threaten the very fabric of everyday American life and values.

And they just don’t seem to get how lost they’ve become.

We won in November. But much of that is due to one tsunami of a human, Donald Trump, the likes of which we may never see again. He can be confounding at times, and sometimes leaves even his own supporters at a loss for words. But he is transformational in a way that we’ve rarely seen before, and he is the reason that we nuked a complete progressive takeover of our nation. He’s bringing generational talent to the fore—most notably his VP JD Vance, who is proving daily that he’s a Grade-A fighter for America—but it will take all of us. It’s all hands on deck time, and those who have kept quiet need to come out of their shells and fight for what’s right. I was admittedly quiet once, but I am no more.

This horrific story—and Patty Morin‘s powerful words—are a reminder that the consequences of “progressivism” are not an imagined reality, they’re not an HBO Max horror show, they’re not a meme—they are all too real.

And it is up to us to stop it. Fight fight fight.
