Kamala Says Being a 'Leader Is Based on Who You Lift Up'—Then Immediately Appears to Call Trump 'Coward'

The Democrats have a weird way of being unifying and uplifting; they think that if they demonize half of the American electorate, they are somehow inspiring. We saw it with Hillary’s “Basket of Deplorables” and Obama’s disgust with Americans who “cling to guns or religion.” Such elitist hatred reared its head again with Biden’s 2022 “Red Speech,” where he invoked Third Reich-like theatrics and accused Republicans of being a force that “threatens the very foundations of our republic….”

He was just as divisive in his 2024 State of the Union speech, where he basically called Supreme Court justices enemies of the nation.

Joe Biden's State of the Union Was the Most Unhinged and Angry in History

Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris is now the latest candidate to jump on this train, preaching unity while spewing hate. In the space of one spoken paragraph, she appealed to harmony but then appeared to call her political opponent Donald Trump a coward (emphasis mine):

“This campaign is about a recognition that, frankly, over the last several years, there’s been this kind of perversion that has taken place, I think … which is to suggest that the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down,” Harris told supporters during a campaign stop in Rochester, Pa. “When what we know is the real and true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up.”

“Anybody who’s about beating down other people is a coward,” she added.

She did not directly name Trump, her main challenger, though the remark fell in line with the Harris campaign’s focus on strength, leadership and democracy to contrast herself with Trump on the trail in recent weeks.

"Over the last several years, there’s been this kind of perversion that has taken place..." Oh really? Who's been in charge the last "several years?" You, Biden and Co., and you've been consistently delivering the most divisive commentary out there all this time.

Although Donald Trump takes a lot of heat from the mainstream media over his use of derogatory nicknames for his opponents, will they call out the divider-in-chief who somehow is still ostensibly in office despite the fact that the Democratic elite just took down one of their own and forced the end of his reelection campaign?

Our president: Biden's Brain Breaks As He Doubles Down, Threatens the GOP, Makes Things Worse for Kamala

How’s this for the “true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up”:

The Democrats’ hypocrisy will be on full display this week as their convention opens in Chicago—ignore the expected violent pro-Hamas protests, it’s just people “exercising their First Amendment rights”—but their duplicitous nature will continue to be on full display as they call for high-minded political discourse while in the same breath wallowing in the pig slop. Trump is who he is, love him or hate him—but he doesn’t try to pretend he’s something he’s not. The Democrats, on the other hand, try to create an almost AI-level of obfuscation where they make-believe they're centrists while quietly pursuing extreme activist agendas (see: CA radical Gov. Gavin Newsom).

Biden, Harris, and Walz preach tolerance and unity, but in reality, they spend their time race-baiting, demonizing anyone who doesn’t agree with them, and forcing wedges between regular Americans.

They claim to want to bring this country together while doing everything in their power to divide us, and frankly, it’s disgusting. Kamala Harris is just more of the same.
