Former FBI Agent Lays Blame on Biden-Era 'Factories of Indoctrination' for Kirk's Death

Conservatives are still reeling from the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder and podcaster Charlie Kirk. Wrapping our heads around the fact that someone would kill a husband, father, and leader for so many young people in the conservative movement, just because they disagree with what he believes, is something most rational people are having a very hard time with. Many people are asking, How did Americans get to this point? How did a people who have debate in their collective DNA ever get to this place? While there are a whole lot of places to lay blame, there is one entity, and its enablers, that stand out.

Former FBI Agent Stuart Kaplan is a frequent guest on the Fox News Channel. On Sunday, he appeared with Trey Gowdy on "Sunday Night in America." He began by talking about the initial phase of law enforcement, but then brought up something that had not yet been talked about.

Let’s be honest, the formality of charging Tyler Robinson is going to be easy. There is an old saying, "You can indict a ham sandwich." Really, I think the overwhelming concern will be when it comes time to have the rubber meet the road and selecting a qualified pool of jurors and to see 12 people that, quite frankly, will leave out their bias and their notions of what side they sit on. Can we get a fair and impartial jury to just judge this case on what seems to be the overwhelming amount of evidence?

It was here that Kaplan went further than just the legal ins and outs and laid a good part of the blame for Robinson's radicalization at the feet of the Biden administration, saying:

But, Trey, I want to also touch upon something that I think is much more important and front and center to the FBI. I think the FBI is quite concerned right now that the former administration, quite frankly, allowed our classrooms to become factories of indoctrination of crazy ideology, and these kids have been spoon-fed the nonsense, that they’re laying and waiting in isolation on social media platforms, on video games. And Tyler Robinson is not alone.

Kaplan is spot on. The reality is, Tyler Robinson is one guy. There are thousands more out there just like him. Thousands more who have sat in college and university classrooms, forced into being captive human sponges as left-wing professors indoctrinate them. The Biden administration turned a blind eye to the increasing severity of the indoctrination. More specifically, as violent campus protests broke out after the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks on Israel, the heads of many Ivy League campuses were brought before Congress in December of 2023 to explain the rampant antisemitism flourishing at their institutions. They all had difficult times equating antisemitism with hate.

Kaplan continued, saying that:

The problem in our society is that our politicians, and certainly the former administration, laid the predicate that we no longer have the standard of what moral fiber should look like. We’ve taken faith out of the classroom. We have allowed people to desecrate our country, desecrate our flag. We allowed kids in the highest institutions, Ivy League institutions, to tear them down and destroy them and burn them with anti-Semitic behavior that in my heyday you could never imagine that that would’ve ever been condoned and tolerated.

Conservatives on college campuses have been marginalized and attacked, both verbally and physically, for years. The ratio of conservative to liberal professors has also been well known. At Duke University alone, 60 percent of professors identified as liberal. Why would we expect anything else but an army of Tyler Robinsons? The Biden administration also did nothing to address the "cancel culture" that emerged not only on college campuses but in other places as well, because it furthered their agenda. A bit of blame dropped at their feet is entirely appropriate.

Kaplan added, “So we’re living in this type of cesspool and, quite frankly, we need to figure out how we’re going to turn the corner and clean this mess up."
