Wow, Thursday just hasn't been the Democrats' best day, has it? One after another, we saw members of their leadership limping in front of media microphones and cameras in lame attempts to put the blame for the Schumer Shutdown on Republicans and President Donald Trump--whether it was Senate Democrat leader, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) himself or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries as the subject of primary focus.

Republicans are turning the tables on the tired narratives, left and right, which has to be making old Chuck and his pal Hakeem mighty upset.

The day isn't over, and it's only going to get worse for them, I'm afraid, with a new video produced by the Trump administration, which is set to premiere soon at airports all across America.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) created the clip, which is a video message by Secretary Kristi Noem on how the Schumer Shutdown is affecting air travel, and it will play on monitors at public U.S. airports, making sure travelers know why there are delays and reassuring the public. Fox News reporter Preston Mizell has the scoop, sharing the new clip on his X account on Thursday:

In the video announcement, Sec. Noem stresses that the Transportation and Security Administration's (TSA') "top priority" is for travelers to have "the most efficient and pleasant airport experience as possible, while we keep you safe."

"However, Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government and because of this, many of our operations are impacted and most of our TSA employees are working without pay," she added.

"We will continue to do all that we can to avoid delays that will impact your travel," Sec.Noem continued. "And our hope is that Democrats will soon recognize the importance of opening the government."

Now, this is the way it's done. While we don't know how long the Democrats' Shutdown kabuki theater will last, this video is sure to dampen the enthusiasm that was beginning to build on the Left about air traffic woes possibly forcing Republicans to cave on the shutdown. Team Trump, as usual, is five moves ahead on the chessboard.

Besides, as far as the announcement message goes, it's likely to cheer up airline passengers, since, if we're being honest, almost anything is better and more engaging than what might be playing on the permanently-tuned-in TV sets on CNN in the gating areas.

Editor’s Note: The Schumer Shutdown is here. Rather than put the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats forced a government shutdown for healthcare for illegals. They own this.
