In this April 17, 2017 file photo, Donald Trump Jr., the son of President Donald Trump, speaks to media on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington. Donald Trump Jr.’s scheduled visit to Capitol Hill on Thursday marks a new phase in the Senate investigation of Moscow’s meddling in the 2016 election and a meeting that the president’s eldest son had with Russians during the campaign. As covered by RedState’s Bonchie, Donald Trump Jr. appeared on Thursday’s episode of The View. And he didn’t shy away from toe-to-toeing it with the ladies.
At one point, DTJ called out ABC over a cover-up of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Here’s how Bonchie put it:
We now know that ABC News found the whistle-blower who exposed their cover-up to protect a pedophile. Their response? They colluded with CBS News to get the woman fired from her current job. These are the same virtue signaling networks that are claiming it’s of grave moral imperative that we don’t expose who the Trump-Ukraine “whistle-blower” is.
They would not have invited Don Jr if they knew he was going to show up with reciepts and burn the place to the ground lmaooooo https://t.co/aAdA4xUasi

During the tense show, host Sunny Hostin suggested the President’s son committed a “federal crime” in his public naming of the Ukraine whistleblower.
Amid the spat, she offered, “It is a crime. My law degree says it is.”

Apparently, the dustup spilled over onto Twitter, and Jr. was his usual gunslinging self:
Did you also think what you did at the Trump Foundation was legal? @DonaldJTrumpJr https://t.co/Y6HgUva2Ia https://t.co/jI9uLOKFa4

Sunny was referencing a judgement against the President, due to which he’ll pay $2 million for improper employment of Trump Foundation funds during the 2016 primaries.
But the Commander-in-Chief’s namesake shot back with more on ABC’s eschewing of the Epstein story (for much more on that, please see here):
What's it like to draw a paycheck from a network that not only protected pedophile-rapist Jeffery Epstein, but then retaliated against the courageous female whistleblower by pressuring CBS to fire her?@TheView @ABC https://t.co/VoMU1HHTg3

The man’s a scorcher.
And so is the Epstein story.
ABC provided, perhaps, the only explanation they’re going to give:
“At the time, not all of our reporting met our standards to air, but we have never stopped investigating the story.”
But Don Jr.’s surely got more where that came from. And he’ll continue packing heat.
It might just run in the family.
