Donald Trump has announced his pick for the Vice Presidential spot on a morning when rumors about Sarah Palin and Mike Pence reached a fever pitch. Trump stated this morning he wouldn’t announce until tomorrow, but there is reportedly a leak.
Multiple sources are reporting the news that Trump has selected Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his VP pick.
From Roll Call:
Donald Trump is planning to announce that Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is his choice for his vice presidential running mate, according to a Republican with direct knowledge of the decision.
As Trump narrowed in on his choice of Pence, the two men spent time at both Trump’s golf resort in New Jersey in early July and at the Indiana governor’s mansion this week.
The leak is supported by evidence. For one thing, Pence was not on the list of speakers at the convention, though Newt and Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn are.
