When you import the Third World, you import the Third World's problems. Right now, that's never been more apparent than in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where an immigrant variously described as Sudanese and Somalian brutally attacked a young Irish man.
The UK's Prime Minister, Kier Starmer, is outraged.

PM Keir Starmer called the attack “horrific” and “sickening,” saying he had “absolutely no tolerance” for violence like this.

A BBC report has some details:
A man believed to be Sudanese has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a "brutal" knife attack in Belfast, police have said.
The man, in his 30s, remains in custody after the incident in north Belfast at about 22:30 BST on Monday.
Video circulating online shows a number of people, including one wielding a hurling stick, confronting the apparent attacker until the police arrived.
A man injured in the attack, aged in his 40s, is in hospital where his condition is described as serious.
An initial statement from the PSNI on Tuesday morning said police believed the attacker was Somali, but have since confirmed he is Sudanese, describing it as a "fast-time investigation".
Sudanese or Somali, regardless, the question remains: Why was this person in the United Kingdom?

Britain was never a crime-free paradise. Every society, every major city, has its issues with criminals. But this was an attempted beheading, on the street, in an attack on what appears to be a random passerby by someone imported from a Third-World, low-trust, low-values society. That's something we've started seeing recently in Europe, and the attacker always seems to be from one of those parts of the world where life is cheap.
Then, there's this:
Northern Ireland secretary Hilary Benn is still taking questions from MPs in parliament. He's asked repeatedly about the suspect and how they entered the country.
Benn pushes back, saying the public is right to be angry but "the proper vehicle for [answering] that is the Police Service of Northern Ireland".
He tells the Commons that authorities must be "absolutely sure about the facts before they are released".
There's a distinct note of hesitation there; the secretary doesn't seem interested in admitting how this immigrant came to be in the United Kingdom, but it's a safe bet that he entered as an "asylum seeker" or by means of some other such refugee claim.
When you import the Third World, you become the Third World. Britain's learning that the hard way. And, honestly, so are we, right here in these United States.
