In the midst of a terrible recession and an assault on our values and traditions by a liberal administration, it’s important to remember the founding principles this nation was founded upon – liberty and independence.

At the RedState Gathering this August, Governor Rick Perry wants to share with everyone that message, the American story of liberty and independence, and you could be the one to help him tell it.

Create a video of two minutes or less that shares your unique thoughts on the American spirit, upload it to YouTube and submit your video at this link no later than July 13th at 12:00AM CST.

Governor Perry will introduce the winning video and pay for the winner to attend the RedState Gathering for FREE!

Even if you’re not submitting a video, you can help determine the winner. Online voting will start at the submission deadline and run until July 18th. The finalist will be announced the next day.
