It's Tuesday — you know what that means (at least...in the spring and summer of even-numbered years): another evening of election results.
Primaries are being held today in four states: Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, and South Carolina. Here are some of the key races we're keeping an eye on:
Maine
The main (Maine?) event, of course, is the Democrat primary for U.S. Senator, with the scandal-plagued Graham Platner squaring off against Governor Janet Mills. With all of the Platner baggage that has come to light of late, how close will it be? And both the Democrat and Republican races for governor could split sufficiently that ranked-choice voting kicks in.

Nevada
Republican Governor Joe Lombardo is facing several challengers in his primary, but is expected to win handily. The House race in NV-2 will be interesting, with 13 Republican candidates in the mix. (President Trump has endorsed retired Air Force Lt. Col. David Flippo.)
South Carolina
It's the Governor's race in the Palmetto State that will draw some attention, with President Trump having thrown his support behind Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, rather than Rep. Nancy Mace (SC-01). Then, too, Lindsey Graham is being challenged for the Senate nomination, most notably from businessman Mark Lynch. (I suspect Lindsey's probably safe, though.)
Polls close as follows:
- Maine — 8:00 PM Eastern
- Nevada — 10:00 PM Eastern
- North Dakota – 8:00 PM Eastern (most of the state)/9:00 PM Eastern (areas of the state on Mountain Time)
- South Carolina — 7:00 PM Eastern
We'll be watching them here at RedState, and you can, too. We'll bring you the live results right here, thanks to our partnership with Decision Desk HQ, so be sure to check in — and participate in the comments below.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
