TOP O' THE MORNIN'
Juan Williams Names His ‘Politician of the Year’ and OMG, We Can’t Stop Laughing
No, Juan, Liz Cheney is not the politician of this—or any other—year. She got trounced in her primary, did everything in her power to stop Trump, and failed. She cost Kamala votes when Harris really couldn't have gone much further downward, and she'll never be taken seriously in Washington again.
Taking part in an interview with Rogan might have helped Kamala's male voter problem. Would it have been enough?
We'll never know, thanks to those "little snot-nosed 23-year-olds" running the Harris campaign.

"My motto is to just be super cute, have my data and facts, treat everyone with love and respect, and as you can see, an army of people will follow."
WHAT'S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill...
As noted previously, the critters are out for Thanksgiving break. But when they return, they'll only have three weeks to sort some important stuff out before the 118th Congress comes to a close, including funding the government and passing the National Defense Authorization Act. It could be a mad scramble.
We now know that the special election to replace Congressman Mike Waltz (R-FL), who's leaving the House to take up the National Security Adviser role in the Trump administration, will be held on April 1.
And while the smoke is still clearing from Election 2024, there's already some gearing up for Election 2026, with speculation that Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff (D) is likely to face some challengers.
White House What's Up
It's a quiet day for President Joe Biden — he may still be recovering from the Turkey pardon and Friendsgiving festivities of Monday. In the afternoon, he and First Lady Jill will head to Nantucket, Massachusetts, to celebrate Thanksgiving with family.
Full Court Press...
Monday was a big day for legal wins, both for President-elect Donald Trump, who saw the D.C. election interference case against him formally dropped, with the appeal of the classified documents case soon to follow, and for the State of Missouri, which notched a couple of wins of its own, with the help of Attorney General Andrew Bailey.
Another bond hearing was held Monday for Sean "Diddy" Combs in the Southern District of New York. The judge requested further submissions from the parties on the matter before ruling, but it appears Combs will remain in custody.
There's a run-off election in Mississippi on Tuesday for the state's supreme court.
MORNING MUSING
CNBC caused a bit of a kerfuffle with an article that claimed that "Thanksgiving dinner is historically affordable this year" and estimated the cost of said holiday dinner for a 10-person gathering at...$58.08. That estimation received a ton of pushback, including from yours truly, who noted that just the ingredients for the one casserole/side dish I'm tasked with providing this year ran me $26.48. Okay, so the cost may not be quite as high as it was in 2021, but that's cold comfort for those of us just trying to make ends meet. We rate this "estimation": four turkeys.
Yeah - I'm tasked with making a casserole/side dish. Total of ingredients purchased yesterday to make it: $26.48. In Missouri.
