One of Mamdani's 'Kids Throwing Snowballs' Busted for Assaulting NYC Cops—PBA Prez Torches Mayor

Authorities arrested 27-year-old Gusmane Coulibaly on Thursday morning and charged him with assault following an attack by numerous agitators in a Manhattan Park earlier this week. The violent altercation left two NYPD officers injured and reportedly requiring hospital treatment for cuts and bruises to their heads, necks, and faces.

The New York City Police Department announced that Coulibaly had been detained "for assaulting our officers earlier this week in Washington Square Park."

The incident sparked outrage not only amongst New York City's residents, but across the nation. It's easy to see why, as officers on the scene were relentlessly pelted with snow and packed ice.

Assault sounds infinitely more accurate than how New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (Communist) described the attack on his city's finest. Mamdani amplified the outrage by dismissing the actions of these animals as little more than "kids in a snowball fight."

In fact, so pleased was Mamdani with his description that he repeated it over and over.

"I've said again and again of what I think it was," Mamdani repeated on Wednesday.

NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch explained why only an absolute jackwagon could come to that conclusion, saying, "The behavior depicted is disgraceful, and it is criminal."

NYPD Releases Photos of Suspects in Snowball-Pelting Incident As Mamdani's 'Kids' Narrative Implodes

Now, it's officially criminal. Mamdani's narrative imploded by virtue of the first arrest being a clear adult. And to nobody's surprise, this particular adult has a criminal history. The NYPD announced that Coulibaly had been arrested "for an attempted robbery in the transit system" just three weeks ago.

Really? He seemed like such a well-behaved, stand-up kind of kid. The odds, incidentally, of that being the entire extent of his rap sheet are slim to none.

PBA President Patrick Hendry, in a statement following Coulibaly's arrest, took a direct shot at Commie Mamdani for his characterization of the "snowball fight."

"A 27-year-old with a recent attempted robbery arrest is not a 'kid,'" he seethed. "This arrest sends a clear message that assaults on police officers cannot and will not be minimized or tolerated."

Mamdani, though, minimized it, thereby tolerating it, and effectively sent a dog whistle to his unhinged supporters: next time, maybe y'all could amp it up a notch by tossing some batteries or rocks into those snowballs. Maybe a nearby brick would be handy.

As is the case with most radical leftists, they turn a blind eye to criminals in the hopes that they'll escalate their behavior.

"I've said that what I saw was a snowball fight. It should be treated accordingly. It was one that got out of hand. But that's what it was," Mamdani reiterated yesterday.

No, you raging asshat, it wasn't. Now it's being treated properly.

Rest assured, had he been struck in the same manner as the officers, Mamdani would have been laid up in a hospital bed for two weeks and likely going to therapy sessions to cure sudden-onset bedwetting. Then he would have called it what it was—an actual assault.
