White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed the previous administration's lack of transparency regarding former President Joe Biden's cognitive decline and then called out journalists in the room for the very same thing.
Leavitt assured a reporter that any updates regarding President Trump's annual physical, which will take place at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday, would be provided as soon as possible.
The reporter mentioned the former President and transparency, a comment that provided a launching pad for the 27-year-old press secretary to deliver some hard truths.
Biden covered up his issues. His administration covered up those issues. But so did the media.
"I can tell you there was certainly a lack of transparency from the former president, from the entire former administration, and frankly, a lot of people in this room when it came to the health and the competence of the former President of the United States, Joe Biden," Leavitt explained.

Leavitt asserts that the coordinated cabal of misinformation regarding Biden's mental decline was "one of the greatest cover-ups, and frankly, political scandals this nation has ever seen."
She then indirectly jabbed some of the journalists—we're looking at you, Jake Tapper—who played an integral role in covering for Biden's cognitive issues but are now trying to profit from 'exposing' them years later.
"It's been unraveled in some recent books that are being written by journalists who engaged in that cover-up and scandal, which is quite ironic," she pointed out.
Tapper, while not a member of the daily press briefing coverage, was one of those journalists who tried to suggest criticism of Biden's frail mind meant you were making fun of his stutter, which oddly showed up through the years only after he said something demonstrably idiotic.

On the theme of transparency, Leavitt recently teased the potential release of audio recordings of Special Counsel Robert Hur's infamous interview with former President Biden.
A reporter asked Leavitt earlier this week if the administration was considering releasing the tapes.
"I don't have an update on that, but I can certainly check," Leavitt replied. "I think the American people would be quite interested to hear that tape, but I'll double-check on the release of it."

The press secretary isn't shy about calling out so-called journalists. During an exchange with CNN's Kaitlan Collins last month, she cooly urged the reporter to do her job in investigating the massive autopen scandal.
It's unclear if former President Biden knew he signed pardons or other official documents because an autopen was used for the signatures.
"Was he aware of his signature being used on every single pardon?" Leavitt asked.
Collins replied, "Do you have any evidence on that?"
"You're a reporter; you should find out," Leavitt fired back.

In the press briefing Friday, Leavitt added that reporters in the room "know from covering [Trump], it's hard to keep up with him."
"He is a machine working around the clock every single day, and the physician, after today's physical, will provide an update on the report in the effort of transparency," she said.
Remember when her counterpart, Karine Jean-Pierre, said the same thing about Biden? That she had trouble keeping up with him because he's such a vibrant ball of energy?
One of those aforementioned books has now revealed that the Kamala Harris campaign had a “death-pool roster” of federal judges who could step in if Biden died in office.
The media all cried that democracy dies in darkness, then let it actually die in darkness during the Biden administration.
