Trump had a ceremony in the new and improved Rose Garden.

The team gave him an honorary ring and a team jersey. Trump was very impressed and joked about whether he had to report the ring.

The Dodgers also gave Trump what looked to be a replica of a World Series ring. That prompted Trump to exclaim: "Wow. Do I have to report this? I don't want to report this" before slipping the ring into the inside pocket of his suit jacket.

He praised the players, including their star, Shohei Ohtani.

"He's amazing. He's amazing. Everybody loves him. Last year, Shohei did what was previously unthinkable. Nobody thought it was possible. He collected his a third straight unanimous league MVP with a franchise record 55 home runs. And if you would have told me you can be the best pitcher and the best hitter at the same time, you know, Babe Ruth was pretty close to that."

He teased Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto, "Who's the better pitcher?"

Trump had a little more fun with Ohtani, first taking a picture of him and then giving him more challenge coins.
