As we reported a couple of weeks ago, Freddy, the World Cup tourist from Germany, who had been bringing people a lot of fun and joy with his posts about his road trip, deactivated his account on X. He did that because he was being harassed by some people (including people on the left), with people trying to dox him. It was such a twisted thing that they couldn't just enjoy someone posting positive things about America that people liked.

But now he's returned and reactivated his account on X. He and his crew made it to the tiger statue at Clemson University, in South Carolina. He said he decided to come back to document the final part of his trip.
Hello again.

We’re currently in Clemson, South Carolina. I’ve decided to come back here to document the final part of our road trip.

The main reason I deactivated my account two weeks ago was that things became increasingly toxic. For some people, it’s unfortunately unfathomable that a good story can exist without some kind of hidden agenda behind it. There was even a Reddit group going through my entire account trying to find anything they could use to reveal my identity.
I know this was only a small percentage of people, but after a while it became exhausting. During the last two weeks, I received so many kind messages on Instagram, and they really made me realize how many people genuinely enjoyed following the trip. Some people even told me that their grandparents regularly ask them, “What are the Germans up to today?” I think that’s really cool.
I decided to continue because I realized that the overwhelming majority of people loved following along. A small group of very loud people shouldn’t be able to ruin something that brought so many others joy.
He explained he never said it was his first time in the U.S., but that he hadn't been to the areas he had been posting about before, except Boston. "And let me tell you, Ohio and Alabama are very different from New York City or Los Angeles," he determined. Yes, Freddy, we know! That's probably why you enjoyed those places so much.
Guess where he went for the Fourth of July? He made it to D.C., the Washington Monument, and the Great American State Fair for the amazing fireworks show and some of the flyovers. This is pretty cool, he even got to see the Air Force One flyover.
Meanwhile, if you have Instagram, you can check out some of the places Freddy has hit since his team lost their game in the Boston area by clicking his avatar and checking the various days. He started planning on going back to Texas, but then decided to go to Florida instead. I think he got a great cross-section of America. If you don't have Instagram, it will still show some of his prior adventures on which we've already reported.

Day 28: Pennsylvania, including Jim Thorpe, Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant, and Harrisburg. They helped out a woman who was having an asthma attack at the lake. Good job!
