It cannot be easy when you're the First Lady and leftists keep trying to kill your husband.
I thought that this week, as I watched the video of the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting and Melania Trump's reaction. This was also the first time she was with him when it happened, so she felt it all as it unfolded.
As we reported, according to a journalist who was there, Trump prioritized getting Melania and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt out of there with appropriate cover, so they all moved out as a group.
It was a big change in life to go from a businessman/media person's wife to the wife of a man the left is continually demonizing. I think maybe in the first term, it was new and there was a lot to get used to. I don't know if others would agree, but to me, she seems to be happier in the second term. It feels like maybe she's coming into her own. Part of that may be her movie, and it was very sweet of Trump to keep praising her about how well it was doing, as he did over Easter. They've been married for over 21 years.

To go from the Saturday shooting to looking like this on Tuesday is quite something. It shows a lot of resilience and composure.
These images of Melania Trump should serve as a litmus test of sorts to determine just how void of critical thinking some people truly are, even if observations of one’s looks and dress sense are subjective.

But she truly doesn't get enough credit for what an upgrade in First Ladies we now have, in every way you can think about it. If she were a liberal, she'd be in every magazine and constantly praised in the liberal media. They were always promoting Jill Biden and Michelle Obama, neither of whom could hold a candle to Melania for style.
Now I'll confess I'm not much for caring about style. But it's beauty v. bedspread, and I think I know which one wins.

And beauty isn't only about style, but it's also about grace. There's another thing that Melania gets — being supportive without trying to take over/say stupid things. You will never have a picture of Melania like one where Jill appeared to be acting like a president, "prepping" for the G-7.

But then, too, in terms of priorities and keeping our interests in mind, if you were going to guess, who would you think was more economical and had the smaller staff?
If you guess Melania, you'd be right. As the National Taxpayers' Union (NATU) reported last year, Jill Biden had 24 full-time staffers by 2024.
During this time the combined salaries rose from $763,875 in 2022 to nearly $2.4 million in 2024. The office expanded from its traditional social role to include policy specific advisors, multiple communication roles, and speechwriters.
Before this, the largest office of the First Lady was Michelle Obama in 2009 and Laura Bush in 2008 each with 16 personnel.
You can check all the titles of the people Jill Biden had us paying for. It was ridiculous.
Melania had five people at the time of the report, which alone saved taxpayers a projected $1.7 million over 2024.
