When Media Questions Renee Good's Former Father-in-Law, He Delivers Comment They Weren't Expecting

We've seen a lot of craziness being pushed by the left in the wake of the shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent after she hit him with her car.

Many on social media misstated the law or the facts in this case to attack the ICE agent. Many falsely termed the incident "murder." It's like a cult of unreality on X, with leftists all sharing false "facts" to prove their belief, each confirming the other's bias. The liberal media have largely been feeding that frenzy. The agent is now in hiding, in part because of that frenzy.

Some in the media have downplayed or even outright denied the evidence that the ICE agent was hit by the car, despite the evidence of the videos. On Wednesday, there was a new report that the agent had suffered some internal bleeding as a result of being hit. It wasn't clear what the nature of the bleeding was in the report. But obviously, this was just one more indication that the agent had been hit.

But when CNN interviewed the former father-in-law of Good, Timmy Macklin, I don't think they expected the response that they got. Macklin was the father of Good's ex-husband, who died in 2023, and with whom she had her son, who is now 6 years old.

Erin Burnett asked about the investigation in the case, possibly delving into Renee and Rebecca Good's actions. It sounded like she was hoping/anticipating an angry response from him directed at the government for that. But it wasn't what she got. Macklin said he didn't blame anyone, including the ICE agent.

Macklin pointed out how the agent had been hit, and had even been dragged before in another incident. Meanwhile, Burnett looked like she wasn't ready for that, and was blinking a lot.

He said he "loved everybody," but thought there had been some "bad choices."

"I don't blame ICE. I don't blame Rebecca. I don't blame Renee. I just wish...you know, if we're walking in the Spirit of God, I don't think she would have been there. That's...that's the way I look at it."

That's true, and it's pretty incredible that he can see clearly on that, as a family member. He's able to do it, yet leftists and some of the media, who didn't even know her, can't do that.

Renee Good might be here now if she hadn't made the choices to be there that day, not comply with the request to get out of the car, and not drive the car at the ICE agent.

She also might not have been there had the Democrats not politicized law enforcement to attack President Donald Trump. Things Democrats should consider, but they probably won't.

Unfortunately, many do not think clearly like this father-in-law.
