Dems May Be in Big Trouble for Midterms With These Stunning New Financial Numbers

It's probably a little early to be making predictions about 2026 and the midterms. It will be a challenge for the Republicans. Midterms tend to run against the folks in power, and that's the GOP right now.

However, there are some signals that the Republicans have a leg up and the Democrats may have a problem.

The Republican National Committee ended the first half of 2025 with a $65.56 million cash on hand advantage over the Democratic Party, as the left works to rebound from 2024 election losses and the right continues to deeply intertwine its future with President Trump.

New campaign finance filings show the RNC had more than $80.7 million at the end of June, while the Democratic National Committee finished with around $15.2 million in cash on hand as both parties prepare for next year's midterm elections.

That wasn't all.

Through the first six months of 2025, filings show the DNC taking in a little more than $69 million while the RNC's total receipts were over $96 million.

That's a huge difference. That could be read as a big indicator of sentiment at this point.

The NRCC is up over the DCCC as well, $32 to $29 million.

Vice President JD Vance also just raked in $3 million in donations for the RNC during his visit to Nantucket.

The fundraising dinner, hosted at a private residence by Laura and Rob Reynolds with Dave Kelsey and Ozzie Palamo, raised a record amount of money for any donor event on the Massachusetts island for the Republican National Committee, according to a source.

“Vance as RNC finance chair has been a difference maker already,” one GOP strategist said.

Add that to the historically low polling numbers of Democrats at 19 percent approval, showing them even in trouble with their base, and you have to like those numbers.

Mark Halperin spoke about it on his podcast with his panel of former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer and Dan Turrentine, a former political operative who used to work for the Democratic Party.

Spicer said the GOP fundraising was "firing on all cylinders."

“This isn't even a fair fight right now, and I will go on record again: The House will not only hold the majority but, I believe, pick up 1 or 2 seats," Spicer predicted.

Gee, who would have thought that complete Biden administration failure, a cover-up of his cognitive decline, embracing illegal aliens, demonizing law enforcement, as well as a slew of other extremist positions wouldn't be a good idea?

Now people are saying it with money — they don't have faith in the Democrats.

Editor’s Note: The Democrat Party has never been less popular as voters reject its globalist agenda.
