We reported earlier on Rep. Nancy Pelosi's unhinged remarks about the Los Angeles anti-ICE riots.
First, she spoke about how the riots might be the "exuberance of the moment." That's a pretty strange way to talk about violent riots.
When cars are on fire and stores are looted, just remember:

Then she also claimed that President Donald Trump didn't send out the National Guard on Jan. 6.

"On January 6th... we begged the President of the United States to send in the National Guard. He would not do it."

"Why weren't the National Guard there to begin with?.. I take responsibility." pic.twitter.com/iXV0WW8OtG
The National Guard was deployed on Jan. 6. As we've previously reported, President Donald Trump had proposed them before that and asked his Department of Defense to ensure things were safe. But they didn't receive a request from the Capitol Police before Jan. 6.

The former Chief of the Capitol Police, Steven Sund, responded to Pelosi's comment and explained why. He's spoken out many times, including to Tucker Carlson on his podcast.
Sund blistered Pelosi's account.

I made 11 urgent calls requesting National Guard support on Jan 6, starting at 12:58 PM. Approval was withheld for 71 minutes by the House Sergeant at Arms, who reported directly to Speaker Pelosi. She caused critical delays, and now is shifting blame to @realDonaldTrump for failures she helped create. The record is clear.
He said he'd previously asked to have the National Guard on Jan. 3, but he was turned down by the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms.
FACT: On January 3, I made multiple requests for the assistance of the National Guard to help secure the Capitol on January 6 and was DENIED each time, leaving us underprepared for the attack. @realDonaldTrump @PressSec @bennyjohnson

He repeated this on Wednesday morning on "O'Connor and Company" on WMAL.
So I don't know what Pelosi thought she would achieve with those remarks or whether she was just taken by the "exuberance of the moment," but ultimately they did not go over well for her. She thought she would take a verbal whack at the president, but it came back on her instead with Sund's response.
Editor's Note: President Trump isn't going to allow lawlessness to reign in America. We will not have a repeat of 2020's "Summer of Love."
