Ex-Biden Aides Now Talking, Raise New Questions After Biden's Cancer Diagnosis

After Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis was announced, there were a lot of questions from doctors about how long he's had it.

Even oncologist Dr. Zeke Emanuel, who served on Biden's COVID board, said it couldn't have just developed in the last 100 days; Biden must have had it when he was president, and likely for years. So why wasn't it picked up earlier, when you would think Biden was getting some of the best medical care in the world in the White House?

According to what we've been told, Biden was ultimately diagnosed on Friday because he began having increasing "urinary symptoms."

Now, aides who worked with Biden are talking to the New York Post. According to the Post, the aides were concerned that fear of public reaction or an effect on the election might have delayed the diagnosis.

“I do believe that they felt like something was going on, and were worried about it and kind of hedged around it for a little bit,” said one White House staffer who worked in close proximity to Biden, 82. [....]

“I just don’t know how they just, kind of find this out on a Friday, and it’s this far advanced and serious,” the Biden White House aide said. “[If it’s] in the bones, there’s gotta be a discomfort … I think they just didn’t test.”

Another aide questioned why Biden wasn't given a Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) test. It was not reflected in the report of his last released physical examination in February 2024.

“I think the likely scenario, knowing Kevin O’Connor pretty well, is that they had a discussion on what a PSA test is, and they decided not to do one because it would likely be elevated and cause a story, since a lot of older men have high PSAs that are false positives,” this source said.

“A blood test has a paper trail. They probably just didn’t do the test. I think it would leak if he had a PSA test they tried to bury.”

“What’s ironic,” this person added, “is that if they didn’t give the president a PSA test because of the potential for optics of a possible false positive, that decision is ultimately going to lead to his death because they could have caught it earlier.”

Both sources said they had trouble believing that Joe Biden's doctor, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, would have known of any symptoms.

“Frankly, residence staff talk. It would have gotten out,” said the former White House staffer.

“I just know Doc could not have lived with himself if he knew this was happening and he didn’t do everything he could. Also, Doc isn’t discreet. Yes, he’s a doctor, but he’s always chatting.”

The ex-White House aide was skeptical about the timing of the announcement, right before the release of the book, "Original Sin," on the cover-up of Biden's cognitive decline. But the other long-time aide said of Biden’s post-presidential team: “They’re not that cynical and smart.”

Other aides told the post they had "no reason to think" symptoms were present before he left office.

It would be very concerning if they put off tests because of worry about public reaction. The priority should always be his health, not the election or public reaction. I want to know what that first aide meant when he said they felt "something was going on."

But once again, this shows the need to determine who knew what when because it's not just about Biden, it's about the safety and national security of the nation.
