Joe Biden went to Michigan on Friday to try to inject some life to his moribund campaign.
It already started out badly, with the news about who would be giving him the cold shoulder and not showing up:

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer will not attend Biden's Michigan appearance on Friday. Sen. Gary Peters, a steadfast Biden supporter, and Rep. Elissa Slotkin, who is vying for Michigan’s open Senate seat, will also be absent. United Auto Workers President Shawn Fain is traveling for a conference and won't attend either.
That's a bad look for Biden right there; when they don't even bother to show up to stand next to you, that's pretty radioactive.
But he didn't help himself when he stopped at a restaurant and immediately went in for a sniff with some little kids:

It isn't just the incoherence that's the problem; he has so many other issues and reasons why he should not be elected in 2024. This is one of them.
The second reason to vote against him? No matter how many times this is debunked, Biden keeps repeating the "fine people" lie:

Third reason? He just can't stop being creepy with kids. He's in the middle of an event, right in the middle of his sentence, when he stops himself to home in on the child and ask how old the girl is, and talk about "No serious guys until you are 30":

As he was getting ready to give the speech, we should note they've been doing something at his recent events -- putting up barriers on either side of the way to the stage. Why are they doing this suddenly at his events?

It looks like they might be doing it to keep him from going off the stage. It also might be to cover for any of the frequent weirdness he displays when he tries to leave the stage. But I wonder if he had a fall or something else that precipitated this that they haven't told us about.
We'll have to see what happens with all the machinations behind the scenes, with things like Barack Obama and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) huddling. But Democrats blowing him off isn't a good sign.
