The police finally had enough of the UCLA encampment and as we reported, they went in to clear it out and arrest people after the violence that has been seen there.

'We're Going in,' Riot Police Move to Liberate UCLA From Terror 'Encampment' (UPDATED)
The police had given the radicals a lot of warning. When the police finally breached the encampment and went in, the activists tried to hold them off, but they failed miserably. Police systematically took people into custody and were dismantling the encampment and all the barriers. You could hear the sounds of flash-bangs going off as the police action proceeded.

The police also threw down the Palestinian flag the radicals had been flying.

As our friends at Twitchy reported, the CHP said they had arrested at least 132 people. Twitchy also caught that, in addition to being arrested, some of them had the fortune of being featured on Fox as the police proceeded to unmask them. Now you've likely seen these folks wearing either keffiyehs covering their faces or COVID masks at these campus actions. That's obviously to help hide who they are, I think, not just to escape potential punishment by the colleges but also to obscure the fact that some of them aren't students. Additionally, it's cult-like; it makes them all look as though they are in black bloc, like the Borg, with no individuality, all in lockstep for the agenda. It's also harder to identify who might be doing what if someone is breaking the law.
But the radicals were very unhappy when the police began unmasking them, and it was all caught in beautiful color by Fox.
Let the tears begin here. They had ample warning, they decided to ignore them, now the consequences of their actions are coming into sharp focus.

Fox News reporter: “I mean, I’m sure that being arrested is shocking…but it really shouldn’t be because the warnings were there for a very long time.”

Then came the unmaskings as they put them on the bus to take them away, and some were not happy about that.

And this may be the best end to the action, as this alleged student, "I'm a student here; I'm an English major" then pleaded, "Please don't fail us! Don't fail us!"

Maybe had you not been involved in such an action this wouldn't have happened to you? Just a thought. Somehow I'm just thinking that being an English major isn't going to get him a pass here.
But the tears now that they've been taken into custody are something else — like these folks never thought this could happen.
Now, we'll have to see if they suffer any further consequences with prosecution. But they certainly fulfilled that old expression about fooling around and finding out.
