Congress is back in session and taking care of some very important old business, namely, Hunter Biden blowing off their subpoenas requiring him to testify in closed session in December before the House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee. You may recall when he did that last month, acting as though he was somehow the aggrieved party. He also did it with the help of Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), which raises other questions about his behavior.

The House Oversight Committee and the House Judiciary Committee both announced on Friday that they would begin the markup for resolutions against Hunter Biden for contempt for his failure to appear.

The Judiciary Committee also commented on the process, since they had issued a subpoena as well.

They also noted how he had the temerity to show up at the Capitol, give them a figurative finger, and then just left without testifying as he was supposed to last month.

But it gets juicier, as Burisma reportedly just filed a Foreign Registration Statement on Jan. 4, 2024, for work done in 2016. What a coincidence that's occurring right as this investigation of Hunter and Joe Biden is heating up. One has to think that someone believes that FARA charges might be coming regarding Hunter.
CBS' Catherine Herridge outlined this problem for Hunter Biden at the end of last month.

On top of it all, the House has also announced they are looking into whether Joe Biden advised his son to blow them off and dodge the subpoenas, as that could qualify as obstruction, an impeachable offense.
