Biden Babbles About Wind, Even Has to Ask for Directions on How to Get off Stage

We can see Joe Biden deteriorating day by day. But what makes it more evident that there’s a problem is that, even on topics where he has been fact-checked in the past and busted for spreading things that aren’t true, he keeps on repeating the false claims. Even on things that people have pointed out he says and does are weird, he keeps going with them. It means that even with that, he just can’t stop himself from doing it and his staff can’t stop him either.

Biden was in Philadephia on Thursday at the Philly Shipyard talking about the “success” of “Bidenomics”—and trying to pitch wind and solar to union workers.

After the story that broke over the past day about his staff having to make “accommodations” for his issues, Biden came trotting out, trying to look vigorous. But then he kind of blew that immediately, by then stopping suddenly, throwing his arms up, and telling someone up in one of the seats, “Don’t jump!” — that weird thing that he keeps doing.

Biden has some common themes that he repeats in virtually every speech he gives, I think to make it easier for him to give his remarks if he keeps saying the same things. Yet even so, that doesn’t stop him from gaffes and problems. Like who built the middle class? Joe’s take keeps evolving right through this clip.

First, he claims “they” didn’t build the middle class, “they” didn’t build America. I think he’s talking about the billionaires because that’s what he’s said in the past. Yet, that’s not true, because indeed, it’s billionaires who have formed companies that have given jobs to the middle class and they are just as participatory in building America as anyone else. Then, he confuses his script, saying the “middle class built the middle class.” Then he claims the unions did it.

Biden repeats the same false claims about wages growing faster than inflation, and that he lowered the deficit by $1.7 trillion — neither of which is true. He’s been given a bottomless Pinocchio for the latter claim, and he just got a Twitter Community Note for that claim about real wages. Real wages are down three percent, not up as Joe Biden claimed.

Then he came up with a new misleading hot take. He wanted to take credit for inflation going down.

Inflation was at 1.4 percent before Biden, and it’s still higher than when he came in, now at about three percent. Prices are up 16.6 percent. We’ve been paying hundreds more each month for goods ever since he came in,and we all know it because we know what’s been flying out of our wallets — all our money. Imagine the gall it takes to claim this, after it went up to 9.1 percent under him with his excessive spending.

Then. Biden spoke about selling “wind.”

That sounds bizarre. I will grant him that he is selling some kind of hot air, generally. But in this case, he’s trying to speak — not very well — about selling the rights for wind farms in the Gulf.

Biden may be right about “we ain’t seen nothing yet,” but not in a good way. As we previously reported, the Biden administration went after the Maine lobstermen, imposing all kinds of burdensome regulations on them over supposed threats to whales. Yet many are now raising questions about the Biden administration’s possible danger to the whales because of their rush to push such wind farms. Some view it as dangerous to the whales and the environment, because of the rise in dead whales from the ones that they’ve already put in place near New Jersey and New York. The Government Accountability Office has opened an investigation into the deaths and the effects, amid calls for a moratorium on things until the effects are further studied.

But Biden isn’t quite done yet. He has one more moment of confusion as he finishes his remarks, stops, then seems to have no idea where to go. He has to ask for help, starting in one direction, then having to turn around and go in the other direction.

Biden just keeps getting worse.
