We reported yesterday on how Joe Biden was sick. Indeed, so sick that when you listened to him talk, his voice sounded completely different because he was so hoarse.

Biden said it was because he got a cold from his grandson.
Joe Biden is asked why he sounds so sick:
"I have a 1 & 1/2-year-old grandson who has a cold who likes to kiss his pop. He'd be kissing my, anyway…But it’s just a cold." pic.twitter.com/rZPbYNBBAc

Now, I’m not sure why they didn’t have him rest and just say he had a cold, if that was the case. Perhaps they didn’t want to stoke further thoughts of what might be wrong with him. People are already wondering about his actions because of the issues of cognitive decline, as well as canceling speeches and events at the last minute. But whatever the illness is and even if it isn’t COVID, it’s still able to be transmitted to others.

Despite the illness and despite Biden constantly pleading with people to wear masks, Biden visited the Imperfecto restaurant in D.C. last night and was not wearing a mask while inside, according to the BBC’s Tara McKelvey, citing the observations of Bloomberg White House correspondent Justin Sink.
The president goes out: I was with the press pool, and we waited outside Imperfecto restaurant
for him. My colleague @justinsink says he saw him inside the restaurant through a window, and the president was not wearing a mask. Outside, in front of the cameras, he wore one. pic.twitter.com/OYeUhDW7Sz— Tara McKelvey (@Tara_Mckelvey) December 4, 2021
Everyone knows that viruses don’t spread while in a restaurant, but they do spread outside in front of cameras, right? Just a little more theater of the absurd, courtesy of Joe Biden.

Biden has a long history of pushing masks but then often not wearing them himself, even violating his own federal property mask mandate. Biden was busted for not wearing a mask while walking around a restaurant in D.C. in October. The response from the White House when asked about that incident? “There are moments when we all don’t put masks back on as quickly as we should,” Jen Psaki said. It’s important to “not overly focus on moments in time that don’t reflect overarching policy,” she claimed. In other words, ignore the many, many times he fails to wear a mask — when he’s demanding others wear one. Sorry, no, but we’re going to keep pointing out the theater behind this all.
But what was amusing was how folks on the left responded to McKelvey’s tweet. They were furious that she would mention he wasn’t wearing a mask, and argued about how he could eat with a mask on.
Now, there’s no indication that Biden was even eating, but generally, according to liberal mask-wearing rules, you’re supposed to wear it when you’re not actively eating and drinking. It’s all rather silly — as though the virus would know to skip you while you are eating but not when you get up to leave. But this is where they have us at this point, and the left would rather defend Biden than ask the greater question about the silliness of it all.
In this instance last night, Biden already admitted he was sick and shouldn’t have been sharing the virus, whatever it was, with others.
