The Biden team is a constant exercise in Orwellian thought. The truth is frequently the opposite of what they say.

Just in the past few days, we’ve been told that Republicans were the ones who wanted to defund the police, despite Jen Psaki not being able to name one Republican who was in favor of it, while it’s been Democrats across the country for the past year pushing it. Then there was the effort by Psaki to try to convince Americans they really weren’t feeling those rising prices this year at the July 4th cookout because they were saving 16 cents on hot dogs (which wasn’t even true).

Now Psaki is trying to tell us that Joe Biden not wanting to answer questions earlier about Afghanistan has nothing to do with Afghanistan. Despite Biden saying he specifically didn’t want to talk about Afghanistan but about “happy things.” Biden also snapped at the reporters and saying he was “concerned” they were asking him questions.

Black is white, up is down, war is peace, freedom is slavery, ignorance is strength. “It wasn’t related to Afghanistan,” she claimed.

Of course it was related to Afghanistan, as Joe himself said.

“I’m not going to answer any more quick questions on Afghanistan,” he said.

That was after he specifically said he wanted to talk about “happy things, man” in relation to a question about Afghanistan.

When they have to work so hard to cover for just his daily basic communication problems and then they lie on top of it, that’s a big problem. When they lie about the things that are so undeniable and so small, you know that they’re also lying to you about the big things that you can’t see as well. If it wasn’t about Afghanistan, then maybe Jen Psaki has dementia, like her boss, because all the rest of us could see it was about Afghanistan.

It was even too much for this CNN reporter, Kevin Liptak.

Psaki says this episode "wasn't related to Afghanistan" and that Biden was "was ready to be done answering questions."
