While “woke” has insidiously metastasized throughout American society, the rapidly spreading cancer perhaps portends most ominously for its continuing effect on America’s Armed Forces.

The Twins of Woke, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley have worked tirelessly to transform the greatest fighting force on the planet from “a few good men” to even fewer self-identified genders with self-assigned pronouns.

If it wasn’t the U.S. military we were talking about, the failed social experiment would be somewhat humorous — instead of a potentially clear and present danger to the security of the United States. As it stands, I’d have a hard time suggesting enlistment to a loved one or friend. Check it out:

The subversion of the military by the left has had such a devasting effect on recruitment that the Army has been forced to reboot the “Be All You Can Be” theme from the 1980s, as part of a desperate effort to revive plummeting recruiting numbers.

As reported by Defense News in October 2022, U.S. military power was weaker in 2022 than in 2021, according to a report by the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank that each year analyzes the strength of the armed forces and relative threats to America.

The “2023 Index of U.S. Military Strength” focuses on the need for readiness in not one, but two wars — or “major regional contingencies (MRCs),” as the authors put it — with the theory that such a standard would prevent another competitor from taking advantage of U.S. preoccupation with another challenge. But the U.S. currently does not meet that goal, with the report rating America’s military power as “weak,” down from “marginal” in the previous year’s index.

The Index concludes that the current U.S. military force is at significant risk of not being able to meet the demands of a single major regional conflict while also attending to various presence and engagement activities,” the report read. “It most likely would not be able to do more and is certainly ill-equipped to handle two nearly simultaneous MRCs.

In addition, as reported by AEI in November 2022, with the U.S. military in decline, the Chinese military continues at a rapid pace to grow stronger.

Among our military’s senior brass, the chorus of warnings over Chinese military capabilities continues to grow ever louder. Last week, the Commander of US Strategic Command, Admiral Charles Richard, stated that when it comes to America’s ability to deter China, “the ship is slowly sinking.” He added, “it is sinking, as fundamentally they are putting capability into the field faster than we are.”

Setting the insanity of woke aside, Joe Biden and the Democrats have demonstrated for more than two years that their “investment” (taxpayer money and increases in the national debt) are laser-focused on the nonsensical issues of “equity,” climate change, “green” energy, and so-called “social justice” than America’s fighting forces; other than through the lens of transgenderism and pronoun choice, of course.

The below comparison of recruitment videos begins with Russia, moves to the U.S., China, and finally, Britain. The differences are stark, and the video is chilling in what it could very well portend if the U.S. doesn’t rid itself of the scourge of the Era of Woke before it’s too late.
